Oxygen Ready to Cancel 'The World According to Paris'?
by Alex Moaba, posted Aug 24th 2011 2:10PM
Paris Hilton is used to things going her way, but 'The World According to Paris' may just be going away.According to a report in Vulture, Oxygen plans to cancel the poorly-rated reality show after its first season.
The hotel heiress's show struggled to gain an audience from the get-go, averaging just 400,000 viewers per week. Perhaps a sign of trying economic times, the hijinks of a billionaire glamor-queen just didn't have the same mass-appeal as they once did.
Hilton generated headlines recently for reasons that were related to the show's failure. She abruptly walked out of an interview with 'Good Morning America's' Dan Harris after he asked if she was worried about the show's ratings, or that her cultural relevance may be fading. After walking out, Hilton returned to finish the interview.
Don't ask an actress what it's like to date a fat dude

This is a nominee for "Most Awkward Interview Moment Of The Year."ABC reporter Dan Harris saw Entourage's Jamie-Lynn Sigler taping a segment of "What's The Buzz" on the set the other day and decided to corral her to also appear on his web show "The Quick Fix." He wanted to ask her whether or not good-looking women would date "fat dudes" (his words) like her character dates Jerry Ferrara on Entourage.
The only problem? Sigler really is dating Ferrara in real-life! Here's the interview.
The wit and wisdom of ABC News on YouTube
by Nick Zaino, posted May 7th 2009 3:03PM
The announcement of an ABC News branded channel on YouTube yesterday is a little puzzling. First, if you go to the site, the info bar indicates that "ABC News" joined YouTube August 7, 2006. So, maybe they've been working feverishly for nearly three years on this, and they were finally ready to tell people about it. The site will feature news from several ABC programs, like Good Morning America, 20/20, Nightline, ABC World News, and This Week with George Stephanopoulos. And, as a bonus, we get the "Quick Fix" segment, which ABC called "a daily dose of wit and occasionally wisdom" from ABC correspondents.
