When you think "failing restaurant" and "reality TV," do the names Danielle Staub, Heidi Montag and Jake Pavelka immediately come to mind? Probably not, but according to People, they will soon.

The magazine reports the three reality stars are going to star in a VH1 series that will see them team with fellow reality stars for the project. Yesterday, AOL TV reported the trio was spotted filming an unnamed project.

"They are revamping a restaurant from the ground up," a source told People. "They started shooting this past weekend."

Sorry, guys, this isn't a nightmare you're having, this is real: Heidi Montag, Danielle Staub and Jake Pavelka were spotted filming ... something.

According to the Daily Mail, the trio were spotted filming an as-yet-unknown production in Los Angeles. Details on the show are being kept under wraps, but it's safe to assume this motley crew was surely looking for publicity.

They're "done" with each other. Headed towards divorce. Foaming with passive aggression. Pulling weaves. Hitting poles. They are the beloved stars of Bravo's 'Real Housewives' franchise.

These ladies love to fight, whether woman vs. woman, group of women vs. woman, woman vs. man or man vs. inanimate object.

Bethenny Frankel would "prefer" to abandon her place on 'The Real Housewives of New York City' and focus on her other show, 'Bethenny Getting Married,' she said on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS).

Of the 'Real Housewives' franchise, Frankel said, "It's a lot of drama and I think because now people slap each other and rip off weaves, it keeps getting more and more escalated ... People feel like they have to outdo each other ... People want to get ratings."

Frankel said she still works with and remains friendly toward other cast members. But don't expect her to be nice about Danielle Staub from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' Frankel described Staub as "bat-s--- crazy" and likely to "put a hit out on somebody." Don't give her any ideas!

Danielle Staub is working on not one but two new shows. Now that the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star has been fired, erm, left the series, she's reportedly working on the hyped spinoff series and a show that would see her hosting ... something.

UPDATE: Staub spoke to HollywoodLife.com and revealed 'Social,' a new series for WealthTV that will see the former 'Real Housewives' star traveling around the world to visit celebrities and other rich and famous people. The series will also reportedly showcase how the rich and famous give back.

Staub is filming the series for 26 weeks beginning Thursday.

TMZ caught up with the reality vixen and she spilled the beans on camera.

"I have a new show that I'm starting to tape next week when I get back to New Jersey," Staub said. "And that's one of two shows I'm going to be taping. One is my spinoff, the other one's a hosting show, an over-the-top hosting show."

'Social' is the "over-the-top" hosting gig.

Staub has been hyping her spinoff series for some time, even before reports confirmed her dismissal -- or voluntary departure -- from the hit Bravo series. The reality star recently revealed details about her projects to HollywoodLife.com.

According to Danielle Staub of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' she wasn't fired from the show and she didn't quit. Instead, she "walked away," deeming it an appropriate time to leave the reality show after two chaotic seasons, she said on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS).

Danielle Staub is leaving 'Jersey.' Bravo announced Monday that the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' troublemaker, will not be returning to the show.

"The reunion was Danielle's last appearance on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,'" said Andy Cohen, Bravo's senior vice president of original programming and development, who also hosts the 'Housewives' reunion shows. "We thought the hugs were a great way to end two seasons of bitterness between the women."

Throughout the tumultuous second season, Staub enraged Caroline Manzo, her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita and family friend Teresa Giudice, though Staub seemed to make amends at the end of Monday's reunion episode.

'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Mon., 10PM on BRAVO) got together for a reunion special, which served also as a farewell of sorts for cast-member Danielle Staub, who will not be returning for the franchise's third season. Perhaps because this was her last chance with the cast, it seemed that Danielle was ready to put the ugly past of the show behind her.

She and Jacqueline Laurita apologized profusely to one another, after which Danielle announced she would be contacting her lawyer to drop any litigation she has pending against Jacqueline's daughter (for a hair-pulling incident).

The scene ended with a lengthy hug where Danielle proclaimed, "No more. No More. I love you," to a clearly uncomfortable Jacqueline, who couldn't contain her awkward giggles.

Much of this two-minute clip involves Teresa Giudice cursing at Danielle Staub. On 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Reunion show (Mon., 10PM ET on BRAVO), Danielle said that Teresa barely acknowledged her own nephew. Teresa responded by launching from the couch, looming over a seated Danielle and repeatedly yelling, "Do not break up my family! You [beep] bitch!"

Host Andy Cohen tried to restrain her. With a single shove, Teresa threw him back into his chair. Danielle left the stage as Teresa continued a slew of profanities. Caroline Manzo finally stepped in, coaxing her to calm down by saying, "Teresa, we know that."

Andy implored Teresa to not leave the couch again. Meanwhile, offstage, Danielle regained composure with the assistance of a man repeatedly assuring her, "Amazing things. Amazing things happening."

Fans of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New York City' can stop holding their breath -- the show will be back for a season 4, but without one familiar face. Bethenny Frankel has not been asked back to the show.

But, don't feel bad for the new mom. Frankel is busy filming the second season of her reality series 'Bethenny Getting Married?' instead of joining the rest of the women on 'Real Housewives of New York City.'

According to the New York Daily News, everybody else from last season -- Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, LuAnn de Lesseps and newbie Sonja Morgan -- has been asked back for another helping of socialite drama. No word on Jennifer Gilbert, who was followed by cameras for months but rarely popped up on season 3.

In other 'Real Housewives' news ...

• 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' pulled in a solid number of viewers during its season 2 finale. The show was watched by 3.4 million total viewers and 2.3 million viewers age 18-49. Caroline Manzo took to her Bravo blog to discuss her much-hyped confrontation with Danielle Staub and said the names she called Staub were "cruel" and "childish."

In the season finale of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Mon., 10PM ET on BRAVO), Caroline Manzo made a final appeal to Danielle Staub to drop the charges against Ashley Holmes, daughter of fellow Housewife Jacqueline Laurita. But the conversation quickly spiraled into a verbal smackdown, with swelling music for added effect.

"You are not fooling me, 'k? And you're not fooling too many other people," said Caroline. "You know what you are? You're a clown." Danielle replied, "You saying this -- sitting there with red hair? I'm the clown?"

"Pay attention, puh-leeze." Danielle Staub has been fired from Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' according to a report in Life & Style Magazine.

"Danielle was told that she would not be returning for a third season," a source told Life & Style.

Now, before you start throwing your tables in fits of joy (or rage, we know you're out there Danielle fans), Staub has reportedly been discussing a spin-off show of her own.

Bravo's reality series has seen record ratings for the cable channel, especially for the episodes featuring scuffles between Staub and other cast members -- the table flip of season 1 was seen by 4.6 million viewers and the country club hair-pulling incident of this season was seen by 3.29 million viewers.

Patrons at a local restaurant got some table-side entertainment for free: a profanity-laden fight between Danielle Staub and Kim Granatell. Mmm, delectable. On 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Mon., 10PM ET on BRVO), Danielle's daughter Christine heard a secret about her mom through Teresa. But Danielle didn't tell her. The rat? Kim G.

So Danielle confronted the tattletale in a restaurant. "You should have never talked about something this private, especially with those animals." They began screaming over each other at the same time.

"D'you know what? I'm sick of you telling me what to do," said Kim. "I've been a good friend to you ... I gave you my chauffeur ... You're a [beep] liar and a sneak!"

As Danielle tried to leave, Kim followed, as did many more expletives. Among the insults, Kim said, "Look at you, you'll be an old [beep] old lady with your fake and square tits!"

Rest assured, residents of NJ. Your tax dollars came to the aid of one of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Mon., 10PM ET on BRVO) when Danielle Staub got the state court system involved in the infamous North Jersey Country Club throwdown. Danielle decided to press charges against Ashley Holmes for assault and harassment.

Jacqueline Laurita and her daughter Ashley, "chased me through the country club, threatening me," Danielle explained to her attorney. "Ashley came out of nowhere -- and ripped my hair from my head, literally," she said, referring to her hair extensions.

Three friends served as witnesses, helpfully proffering details of "screaming. There was crashing glasses, crashing plates" and general fear all-around.

"I'm extremely confident that the state of New Jersey will handle this matter in suitable fashion, and Ashley will have proper sanctions brought against her," said Danielle.

So what did the judge decide? Will Danielle get her wish to "just be left alone"?

At Kim D's event on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Mon., 10PM on BRAVO), Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita sat with the host, pissing off Danielle Staub. You see, Danielle thought Kim D was a friend, but there she was sitting with her sworn enemies.

"When I saw Teresa and Jacqueline both sitting at Kim D's table, I thought they're just so desperate to get at me that they have to befriend somebody that was my friend," Danielle said.

After that, Danielle could not be bothered to pay attention to the fashion show. She was over it, obviously, and pretended she was texting and calling friends, something she said Paris Hilton taught her.

When Kim G told Danielle that nobody was watching her and they were just paying attention to the show, Danielle said, "That was the point, it was a diss. I'm being dissed, I'm being dissed."

Then, Jacqueline's daughter took the runway and Danielle muttered "coke whore." Classy.
