Danny DeVito on Always Sunny exploits and Christmas DVD - TCA Report
by Joel Keller, posted Aug 7th 2009 3:25PM

Before I spoke to Katey Sagal at last night's FOX party, I ran into Danny DeVito, who was conveniently wearing a It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia hat, just in case people had no idea what show he was there to promote.
We talked a little about Asbury Park, NJ, where he grew up, but then the subject turned to his current show, and the new holiday-themed DVD subtitled It's A Very Sunny Christmas. The DVD will be a never-before-seen feature-length episode where the gang spread Christmas cheer with their usual blend of inappropriate humor, uncomfortable situations and general mayhem.
DeVito mentioned the DVD as he talked about the exploits his character, Frank Reynolds, will be up to this year. "It's off the charts. I'll tell you, Oh my god. There's an intervention; I'm over the top they come in and intervene. I go to a frat house and have lots of fun there. We have a Christmas DVD coming out that's off the charts, doing everything we can't do on television. It's like basically sex, and drugs and rock 'n' roll. Anything we want."
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia goes on tour with the Nightman
by Annie Wu, posted Aug 6th 2009 2:01PM
One of the most terribly underrated comedy shows on television today is FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Here's a hot tip for any Americans that have yet to experience the delightfully atrocious characters from the show: Get on it. Hulu is rolling through all of the episodes and they've just started at the beginning (first five episodes are now available). Perfect time to start, kids. For those that are already a little more well-versed in the Always Sunny universe, there's fun stuff for you, too. The gang is taking an It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia tour to perform a live stage version of one of their most popular episodes, "The Nightman Cometh."
Danny DeVito Denies Being Drunk During Live Morning Interview
by Katy Kroll, posted Jun 12th 2009 1:30PM
Danny DeVito's gone and done it again -- or has he? The actor is denying claims that he was drunk during an interview on a local Philadelphia morning show to promote his raunchy F/X comedy 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.'While on camera, DeVito repeatedly burped and made lewd comments toward the female reporter who was interviewing him. His bizarre behavior prompted her to ask if he was drunk, since he had just been filming a scene in which he was swigging from a beer can. He claimed there was no real alcohol on the set.
Sunny's funny Season Four production blog launches
by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 27th 2008 12:00PM

Can't get enough It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? The irreverent FX comedy is back September 18th (10/9 Central) for a fourth season of shenanigans unlike anything live action non-sketch television comedy has ever given us. Except for those other shows you are about to fill the comments with. If you're anxious for the show to start, and want more of Charlie, Mac, Frank, Dennis and Sweet Dee then have I got a treat for you.
Okay, well that's not fair. I really didn't have anything to do with it. But show writers Patrick Walsh and Sonny Lee aren't here to take credit for it, so we'll just say it's all me. That's right, come check out Paddy's Pub, the new production blog for the upcoming season of It's Always Sunny. It features cast interviews as well as excerpts from Dennis' erotic memoir and even an advice column written by Frank. Now there isn't much there right now, but it only launched August 26th. I mean seriously, what the hell do you people want from me ... I mean from staff writers Patrick Walsh and Sonny Lee.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Bums: Making a Mess All Over the City
by Joel Keller, posted Nov 9th 2007 1:04PM
(S03E14) Most people trust the cops. But what if those cops just happen to be bar owners who are driving a fifteen year old cop car and toting around a cat? Would you trust them then?If that happened, then you might turn to grass-roots law enforcement groups like the Guardian Angels. But what if those people were just douches wearing berets and carrying souvenir mini-bats?
Those are the questions unleashed this week by the gang at Paddy's Pub. And all because they saw a bum getting it on with himself in the alley next to the bar.

Family Guy: Whistle While Your Wife Works

(S05E05) I'm beginning to think of this as the Brian & Stewie show. Again this week, their story was much better than the Peter story. With Peter's injured hand, the setup was good, but it kind of headed downhill from there. The opening with Quagmire smuggling the fireworks into the country ("Yeah, that's just as fun."), Chris playing David Koresh and the heavy handed FBI agent, and Stewie ignoring Peter's missing fingers while asking for more juice was great. Finally something for Meg to do too.TV Squad Hot Topics
