by Crystal Bell, posted Nov 15th 2011 7:30PM
Ciao Seaside! The Situation is leaving the shore and headed to the suburbs. Our favorite juicehead gorilla, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino will guest-star on ABC's hit new comedy 'Suburgatory,' reports TV Guide.
The Situation will play himself, and we can't wait to see him and Noah (Alan Tudyk) compare tans. The 'Jersey Shore' star will somehow end up in the suburbs, where he'll serve as the fist-pumping DJ at Tessa's (Jane Levy) school dance.
Sorrentino's acting debut will air sometime next year.

The new Microsoft ad might make you want to vomit
by Mike Moody, posted Jul 1st 2009 2:02PM

Actually, the entire series of ads might make you want to lose your lunch. Sure, watching '90s Superman Dean Cain randomly pop up in people's homes dressed like Bentley from The Jeffersons is a little funny. But it's all over once the "jokes" and the puke start to fly. I'm not sure why Microsoft thought the image of a woman violently vomiting after stumbling upon her man friend's favorite porn site would sell more copies of Explorer 8. View the ad after the jump

Smallville: Cure
by Kevin Kelly, posted Oct 19th 2007 6:20PM

(S07E04) Okay, I have to admit, it took me a good long while to wrap my brain around this episode of Smallville. Not because of the schlocky "Cure" plot, but because of you-know-who. That's right ... Dean Cain. It was just more than a tad freaky seeing him go toe to toe with Clark, wasn't it? While this show is about a billion times better than Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was, Cain was still Superman. Throw in the fact that Christoper Reeve has been on this show, and you're just a couple of cameos away from having all of the living actors who have played the man (or boy) of steel on Smallville.
What to expect in season 7 of Smallville
by Isabelle Carreau, posted Sep 4th 2007 10:02AM
Last May, when the sixth season finale of Smallville aired, a lot of TV fans were left wondering if Lana Lang, Chloe, and Lionel were dead or alive. Thanks to spoilers, we learned the fate of two of these characters pretty quickly. However, the third one kept us wondering, especially since the contract of the person playing that character was up in the air. Negotiations took so long that the show started shooting new episodes not even knowing if that character would be back or not. Want to know if all those three characters are back? Curious about new storylines and which characters from the past will resurface? Wait no more, we bring you answers!Spoilers ahead!
More pilots, more casting news
by Adam Finley, posted Mar 14th 2007 12:02PM
I'm starting to run out of headlines, but here's a little more pilot casting news, via the Hollywood Reporter:
Dean Cain and Tamala Jones will both star in the CBS drama pilot Protect and Serve. Dean plays a veteran cop in this drama about street officers in Los Angeles.
Polly Walker (Rome) has joined the untitled CBS drama pilot from Cynthia Cidre. The series will focus on two powerful and feuding Latin American families: the Duques and the Samuels. Walker plays the head of the Samuel family
Things I Hate About TV: Guest stars on cop shows
by Anna Johns, posted Dec 31st 2005 11:14AM
I am going to limit this rant to Law and Order since it is the primary offender when it comes to putting
guest stars on its many, many shows. It's as though the writers can't help but make every single celebrity guest star
the guilty person! Do they know it is a dead giveaway to the viewers? If I see Dean Cain, Fred Savage, or Dana Delany
as a seemingly minor character in the beginning of the show, I know they'll end up on trial or at least be the guilty
ones by the end of the episode. Last night, I was watching a rerun of Criminal Intent where Lee Tergesen from
Oz appeared as a minor character in the beginning. Guess who ended up being guilty of murder? Surprise,
surprise. I remember Julia Roberts being on the original Law and Order during season nine, does anyone
remember whether she was guilty?TV Squad Hot Topics
