Lost: Live Together, Die Alone (finale)
by C.K. Sample, III, posted May 25th 2006 12:07AM
(S02E23) Two hour season finale. Usually that means a slow-paced episode with tons of teaser bits to keep you stringing along with a few hard-hitters near the end to keep you excited for next season. The creators of Lost must have realized that a lot of the fans of the show were feeling like we weren't getting enough answers out of the story line, so they made a jam-packed finale. It was a great episode, and I'm somewhat at a loss where to begin in writing this review. The episode begins where last week's episode ended: all the castaways on the beach attending the funeral for Ana Lucia and Libby notice a sailboat in the distance off the beach. Sawyer, Jack, and Sayid swim out to the boat to recover the vessel and see what's going on. Once they are aboard, they are greated by gunshots being fired from below deck. They dodge the bullets, then flip up the hatch only to discover a drunken Desmond below deck, recognizing Jack, saying "You," just before we go to the title screen.

The last Lost chat of the season!

This is it folks. The second season finale of Lost. This episode has been getting quite a bit of buzz about it. I'm pretty sure it's co-written by God the way that those who have seen it talk about it. At least one big shock has been given away if you pay real close attention to the commercials. Don't be caught off-guard! Make sure you you join me here tonight so that you can voice your own opinion. As with all of our chats, you need to have AIM or a compatible client (Trillian, GAIM, etc). Once you have that, make sure you meet right back here to this very post at 8pm ET, and that's when I'll unveil the location for the chat room. You can chat along with me (TVSRyan) and the rest of the Lost fanatics live! I'll see you there.UPDATE:

Is Lost a repeat this week?
by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 30th 2006 7:41PM
Ha! A funny web site helps the die-hard Lost fan figure out if that week's
episode is a repeat (lately, the answer has been yes), or no. And I mean that's exactly what you get on the web site. If Lost is a repeat a particular week, all you'll see on the whole web page is a "NO!" If it's a new episode, it's just a "YES!"
I love a web site that gets right down to it.
Here it is: the Lost map
by Anna Johns, posted Mar 30th 2006 2:17PM

After weeks of idling, Lost finally gave us a juicy nugget in last night's episode. It came in the form of a glow-in-the-dark map on the inside of a blast door. It appears to be a map of all the Dharma Initiative hatches on the island, and something in the middle signified with a giant, pink question mark. It looks as though all the hatches were meant to lead to that middle spot, but they weren't finished or were blocked off (as marked with X's). Maybe that's what the concrete is that Jack and Sayid found.
According to this guy, who evidently stayed up all night decoding the map, it has several phrases, such as "Sursum Corda", and "I Am Here" on the Swan hatch (where the characters are). There are several other phrases that I'm guessing are in Latin.
Here's another, deconstructed version of the map with a lot more text (somebody has Hi Def TV!).
