Dianna Agron: My 'Glee' Character Was Almost Scrapped
by Chris Harnick, posted Dec 9th 2011 2:10PM
Can you imagine 'Glee' without Quinn Fabray's crazy plotting and scheming? Dianna Agron said her character was almost dropped from the hit Fox series."They were going to scrap the character, but Robert [Ulrich, the casting director] asked for one more chance," Agron told Nylon about her 'Glee' audition.
Two days after her reading, Ulrich gave her some instructions to help her land the part.

'Glee' Star Dianna Agron Had an Allergic Reaction to Lea Michele's Cats When They Roomed Together (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 18th 2011 2:00PM
During the first season of 'Glee,' Dianna Agron explains that she roomed with co-star Lea Michele for a six-month period. While they lived together, Michele took in several stray cats which gave Agron an allergic reaction, she said on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated.)Agron says that Michele adopted feral cats found on the lot of their show. "They came and lived with us and they were quite interesting," she said, adding that the kittens loved sprawling across her face in the morning. "So, I was going to work bloodshot [with a] puffy face."
'Glee' Star Jayma Mays Is So 'Not Cool' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Nov 4th 2010 6:08AM
The musical drama 'Glee' is pretty hip right now. But does that coolness transfer over to one of the show's stars? On 'The Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), Craig Ferguson talked with Jayma Mays -- who plays the OCD-afflicted guidance counselor on 'Glee.' While asking Jayma about her odd first name, Craig learned that Jayma's parents were wannabe hippies who simply made the name up. The hippie thing was strike one against Ms. Mays (the host isn't a fan of them). "Not cool," he said.
Craig gave Jayma another chance to show she was "cool." He placed a dollar bill on his desk and told the actress not to steal it. Unfortunately, Jayma failed this test as well.
'Glee' Girls Gone Wild in GQ Photoshoot
by Ryan McKee, posted Oct 19th 2010 8:00PM
'Glee' stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron are featured in a significant photo spread in November's issue of GQ magazine. At some point during the shoot by photography Terry Richardson, the girls lost most of their clothing. "I don't know how they got me to do half the stuff I did," says Lea Michele.
Hmm, we're guessing they just asked her. Michele doesn't seem to have a problem flashing skin since she also went topless this month in a photo spread for Marie Claire UK. She also appears more confident in the exhibitionist shots than her counterpart Agron. Is Michele already focused on burning off her good-girl, high school student image?
As for Monteith, he just looks happy to be there - as would any man. Click here for the full gallery.

'Glee' Returns! Catch Up With Our 'Glee'-cap and Midseason Preview
by Allyssa Lee, posted Apr 13th 2010 12:00PM

Was it Sectionals or Regionals? Is Quinn still pregnant? What's up with Will and Emma? It's been a small eternity since the last new episode of 'Glee,' and let's face it: those four long months could turn even the most die-hard Gleek's memories of the Fox hit musical into convenience store slush.
So for all those whose show choir recollections have turned a little hazy over this winter hiatus, we've provided a recap (or 'Glee'-cap, if you will) of where the show left off in its 'Sectionals' mid-season finale last December -- as well as a little taste of what's to come in the episodes ahead -- just in time for the series' return tonight at 9:28PM ET.
Before They Were Stars: The Cast of 'Glee'
by Audrey Fine, posted Apr 13th 2010 6:00AM
These days the cast of 'Glee' is everywhere; peering at us from magazine covers, rolling eggs on the White House lawn and chatting with Oprah. They've become such media darlings that it's hard to believe we'd never even heard of most of these actors till the show debuted last spring and made them overnight stars. In fact, for some, like Amber Riley [Mercedes], Chris Colfer [Kurt] and Mark Salling [Puck], 'Glee' is one of their first professional gigs! Crazy what a difference a year can make.
So, just what was this talented bunch up to pre-'Glee?'

EXCLUSIVE: 'Glee' Kids on Baby-Signing, Duets and the 'Single Ladies' Dance
by Patricia Chui, posted Nov 10th 2009 1:00PM
You may not know all their names, but if you've been watching 'Glee,' you know who they are: The kids in the Glee Club have shot to stardom right along with their new hit show. And it's not because they've got distinctive nicknames like "Wheels," "The Asian Girl," "The Cute One" and "The Hot Guy With the Mohawk" ... or because they're all talented singers and dancers. The cast members of 'Glee' are energetic, funny and a genuine kick to be around, as we learned when they visited the AOL offices to hang out with us (jealous?) and answer fan questions.
So what did we learn about Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz? Maybe that whenever you see Kevin frown, it's because he's trying not to crack up at a Sue Sylvester line ... or that Amber thinks her character Mercedes beats up on her brothers ... or that someone once asked the cast to autograph a baby ... or that Lea has a song in mind for a potential Rachel-Puck duet ... or that Cory plays drums for real on one 'Glee' recording.
