Didi Benami has one of those sad stories we so often hear about on 'American Idol' (Wed., 9PM ET on FOX). On last night's show, she told about her best friend who'd died four years earlier. "Rebecca is absolutely the reason I pursue music," she said tearfully. "She believed in me when I didn't even know if I believed in myself."

But the judges loved both Didi's unique rendition of 'Hey Jude' and her voice -- enough to put her straight through to Hollywood.

She does have a great voice, but sometimes the emotional folks can't always take the pressures of Hollywood. We're hoping Didi makes it to the Top 12.
