Ron Livingston Sort of Hates Paul Rudd (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Jul 30th 2010 3:00AM
How can anyone hate on actor Paul Rudd? He's so funny! And charming! ... Still, on the new 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 10PM ET on E!), one man finds a way. Actor Ron Livingston is starring in the new movie 'Dinner for Schmucks,' along with Mr. Rudd. And he somehow manages to express his anger, even though Paul hasn't necessarily done anything wrong. The tale of rage involves a failed audition, and also a poker game.
Host Chelsea Handler expresses surprise that anyone could be annoyed with Paul Rudd. "Yeah; he's pretty likeable," she says. Then, Chelsea says this to Ron: "You seem really bitter."
Steve Carell Versus a Farting Vulture (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Jul 28th 2010 4:25AM
Comedian and actor Steve Carell appeared on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS). He was on the show to promote his new movie 'Dinner for Schmucks.' Carell also discussed his run-in with a highly flatulent vulture. The vulture was a last-second addition to Carrell's movie, and he had to sit right next to it during the filming of a dinner scene. Apparently, vultures are pretty dangerous -- which makes sense. After all, the birds eat dead carcasses, so their beaks are strong enough to snap through solid bone. Steve explained to host George Lopez that he suddenly realized that he could "lose an appendage" during the shooting. He also mentioned his plan for not getting hurt by the bird: "I just tried to not look dead. Because that is the most appealing meal to them."
To add to the unpleasantness, the vulture had a slight ... farting issue. Steve described the disgusting vulture farts in vivid detail: "It sounded like a blowout on a tractor tire," he said. Great. Could things have gotten any worse* for the actor?
