Animal Planet, Discovery, TLC, and HBO - TCA Report
by Kristin Sample, posted Jul 11th 2008 8:39AM
I attended the TCA Cable Press Tour at the Beverly Hilton yesterday where I learned about the following shows: Whale Wars on Animal Planet
Secrets of the Dinosaur Mummy on Discovery
Ashley Paige: Bikini or Bust on TLC
Ricky Gervais Comedy Special on HBO
Little Britain, USA on HBO
Generation Kill on HBO
And there's more. Believe me, there's more.
Okay, you've got whale pirates, mummies, bikinis, Ricky Gervais, vampires, and Marines. Unfortunately, none of those shows combine all six of those things / people. After the jump, find out about these new shows and the people who make them...

Stunt Junkies host arrested at Empire State Building
by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 29th 2006 12:05AM
Stunt Junkies host Jeb Ray Corliss IV tried to
jump off the 86th floor of the Empire State Building today (wearing a parachute, of course, under a fat suit), but was
stopped
by police who were tipped off by an anonymous caller.Corliss says the stunt was safe and fine, but the Discovery Channel doesn't agree. It has cut all ties with the stuntman/host:
"We are beyond disappointment at his serious lack of judgement and his reckless behavior. As such, Mr. Corliss will not be associated with any future Discovery Networks projects, including future episodes of Stunt Junkies."
