(S03E10) "I think that ultimately, [women] are going to have to raise the white flag and just accept us for the emotional retards that we are." - Hank to Charlie
This was a real uplifter from last week's dull and otherwise boring episode, if not for the courageous and outrageous efforts of Charlie and his quest to score Rick Springfield a bag of the Colombian itching powder. And I mean uplifter in both the quality and emotional sense of the word ... that I just made up.
The girls in Hank's life, Karen, Becca and Charlie's ex Marcy, go for a girls' night out, and Hank gives Charlie one of his world famous benders after he gets canned for losing Springfield as a client. But it's more about seeing how much greasy California cuisine and $10 a bottle booze they can shove into their systems. Like all great drunken road trips, it's a night of story-telling, story-making and personal exploration, if the memories can make it through the vodka and wine haze that follows them wherever they go.

'Wife Swap' and 'Supernanny'(8PM & 9PM, ABC) 5th season finales
In this corner: It's the Schults family, whose members love Halloween so much that they cover their walls with fake blood and operate a creepy haunted house.
And in the other 'Wife Swap' corner: The Smith fam, led by 63-year-old dad Allen and 54-year-old mom Christine, two no-nonsense parents who don't allow their teens to watch TV or surf the Internet ... so you can imagine the friction that ensues when the families' moms swap households for a week.
Meanwhile, 'Supernanny' Jo is tackling some sticky family issues of her own, as she ties to calm down four violent, fighting siblings and the church employee dad who's all about spanking vs. timeouts.

'Ghost Whisperer' (8PM, CBS)
The show has been quite the soap opera itself this season, but Melinda gets a more direct link to the young and the restless – and 'The Young and the Restless' – when a soap opera shoot hits Grandview.
When one of the show's former stars haunts the taping and wreaks havoc on the production, Melinda has to intervene, providing assistance to the ghost and a bit of corporate synergy for CBS, as 'Y&R' stars Thad Luckinbill and Amelia Heinle (real-life marrieds whose 'Y&R' characters are also married to each other) guest star.
Meanwhile, in the sudsy drama that is Melinda's own life, she gets a sweet little bundle of news that will lead to a big event for her and Jim.

'Battlestar Galactica'(9PM, Sci Fi) series finale
Is the end of the series the end for the humans and Cylons? Mmmm, could be, as 'BSG' creator Ron Moore has promised that the finale of his instant classic sci-fi remake will leave fans reeling.
We know from last week's part one of the finale that Adama (Edward James Olmos) had rounded up volunteers for what he warned was likely a one-way mission: Taking the failing Galactica to Cavil's hangout to try and bring back young Hera.
Moore and several series stars have also said the finale focuses on the beloved 'BSG' characters, and that the episode won't end with all their stories tied up neatly. As if we'd expect anything less from the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning drama.

'Stand Up to Cancer'(8PM, ABC, CBS, NBC, E!)
It's everything a good telethon should be: Educational, entertaining and likely to raise millions of dollars for cancer research.

Other celebs appearing: Cancer survivors Christina Applegate, Lance Armstrong, Elizabeth Edwards and Robin Roberts, plus Meryl Streep, Jennifer Aniston, Masi Oka, Homer and Marge Simpson, the casts of 'Lost' and '30 Rock' and 'American Idol' winner David Cook.
