When Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was caught by a British tabloid last year trying to sell access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, she was sure she'd hit rock bottom.

The natural inclination after such an embarrassing incident is usually to slink as far away from the public eye as possible, but not for Ferguson -- instead, she decided to document her redemption in a six-part documentary series on OWN (premieres Sun., June 12 at 9PM ET).

It pays to have famous friends -- Ferguson told AOL TV that it was Oprah herself who suggested she film a show for OWN. After the jump, watch Ferguson discuss 'Finding Sarah,' which follows the Duchess as she seeks the assistance of self-help gurus big and small, from Dr. Phil and Suze Orman to a shaman and a horse whisperer.

Evidently David Letterman still has a lot to say about last January's late-night wars between Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien. Even though Dr. Phil McGraw was on the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) to do the talking, it was the psychologist's question to Letterman about the Leno-O'Brien showdown that made the host so chatty.

Hey, a lot happens in five shows. Let's get right into it!

COMEDY CORRESPONDENTS
Arsenio Hall was featured twice this week. His first appearance was in a segment that had potential called "This Is What They Said/This Is What They Meant." I was expecting to see video clips of celebrities, politicians and the like spouting their same bullcrap, and then having Hall tell us what he thinks they really meant. Instead, it was Leno reading quotes, including historically famous ones like Julius Ceasar's "Et tu, Brute!" The gag didn't make sense anymore, and even worse the bits weren't funny.

Luckily, he came back later in the week with an on-site spot at Yankee Stadium, where he interviewed players from both teams and even set up a bet against a Yankees player and Phillies fan Kevin Eubanks involving Snuggies.

Jon and Kate Gosselin have finally filed for divorce papers, but shouldn't the two of them go through a few steps before getting there? I'm no doctor, but even I could see that getting upset at one moment and then having silence for several months is not a good basis for divorce.

Yes, there are a lot of outlying factors that TLC has not decided to show America. The portrayal of the couple in the whole fifth season shows that the two didn't communicate anymore, unless it's for the children. Shouldn't one fix the communication barrier before cutting the cord completely?

It's amazing how many bad talk shows there are on the air. I'm not talking about The Late Show with David Letterman or Late Night with Conan O'Brien or Jimmy Kimmel Live. Those are good shows, and if you clicked on this list expecting to find any of them, you're going to be disappointed. The shows I picked are the talk shows that deal in exploitation, human degradation, and feature terrible, terrible people. In short, daytime talk shows!

Well, OK, I did include one late night talk show, but you'll have to click after the jump to see which one it is.

1. Maury (syndicated). Really, was there any question that this would be number one? It shouldn't even be called Maury anymore, they should just go ahead and call it Paternity Tests!, since that is what it's most known for. Doesn't Povich have enough money? Can't he do something else in his life besides this show? What does Connie think of this? Who knows, considering she co-hosted one of the worst shows from a few years ago. If aliens watch our TV broadcasts and happen upon this show every single morning, we're all doomed.

You know things have gotten really bad in Iraq when the chosen form of respite for those living in the area is to watch Dr. Phil on television. It seems that some Iraqis have been watching the show to escape, if only for awhile, the fighting and conflict that still envelopes the country. I don't know how much this actually has to do with Dr. Phil personally, I would think watching anything on television that has nothing to do with war and murder would be a welcome escape for the people living in that country. I'm sure if they showed reruns of Hee Haw they'd tune in to that once a week just to get their minds off the dark reality they face every day. Then again, maybe reruns of Hee Haw would actually result in more fighting. You never really can predict these things.

Maybe Dr. Phil has finally fallen out of favor with Americans. Or, maybe I'm reading way too much into an annual poll listing the Top 10 Favorite Television Personalities. Since 1993, Harris Poll has conducted a research project listing Americans' favorite celebrities. Dr. Phil, Regis Philbin, Ray Romano, and Bill Cosby all fell off the list this year.

The pollsters conducted their research online, and only interviewed 960 adults. So, I'd say that leaves out a significant portion of the population that isn't yet "wired".

November sweeps stunts brought us stormtroopers on The Apprentice, a live debate on The West Wing, a dead chick on Lost and Medium in 3-D. Why are February ratings so tame? One word: Olympics.

NBC is expected to kick some television tail when it covers the Olympics every single night from February 10-26. Going into this month, the networks are touting some pretty uninteresting guest stars on the shows that need a boost. And that's about it. Oh, there is also going to be some sh*t going down on The O.C., but you don't want the spoilers, do you?

Here are some highlights for February sweeps, which began yesterday and run through March 1:

Why does Paula Abdul continue to set herself up for mean jokes from Simon Cowell? This time she's going to be featured on a Valentine's Day special edition of Dr. Phil where the two try to figure out why she's been married two times and is once again single. One of the problems, according to the press release for the show, is that Paula has a hard time being with men who haven't reached her level of success. [Insert Simon Cowell jab here]

After she and Dr. Phil have dissected her relationship issues, Paula will choose one man out of ten to go on a blind date. That date will be filmed, of course, and Dr. Phil will also dissect that. Why can't The Smoking Gun do an expose on this man?

Dr. Phil is giving advice to people who are trying to find a mate on the internet. He's signed on to dish out pearls of wisdom to potential couples on Match.com. Subscribers who pay $13/month for premium service will have access to McGraw's tips. Of course, they won't be in written form. Dr. Phil's written words just don't deliver without his incredulous looks and his Texas accent. His tips to daters will be in the form of 50 video clips, covering topics from communication, first impressions, and meaningful conversations. One of Dr. Phil's tidbits: "If you want to be a winner in love, you want to be a winner in relationships, then do what it takes." People have to pay $13/month for that crap?
