Tracy Morgan in a slutty dress
by Anna Johns, posted Jul 3rd 2007 3:08PM
TMZ has a really weird picture of Tracy Morgan dressed like a flapper and holding hands with his wife. Apparently it's for a GQ magazine shoot, though I can't even imagine why he's wearing the skimpy dress. But, it's Tracy Morgan and we'll have to leave it at that.On top of the slutty dress and the high heels (which he seems to be walking comfortably in), he's also sporting a lovely ankle bracelet that's a requirement of his DUI probation. The device is called a SCRAM, and it tests his skin for alcohol vapors and he's required to wear it for 90 days.
Check out the photo here. It'll make you laugh.
Ugly Betty's design contest winner announced
by Julia Ward, posted Feb 14th 2007 6:33PM
Tomorrow night's episode of Ugly Betty will feature a dress designed by one of the show's viewers. Announced a few weeks back, the show held a design-a-dress contest in which viewers could submit sketches of a dress made entirely of office supplies. The winning bubble wrap, newspaper and paper clip confection was created by Ricardo Rodriguez of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ricardo was flown out to LA and attended the taping of "Derailed," the episode which will feature his design. The conceit of the episode is that Christina only has a few hours to create a dress for a prominent celebrity, but a blizzard prevents her from the leaving the office for fabric. Fortunately, she's a crafty lady and, like Scarlett O'Hara, Carol Burnett and Julie Andrews before her, uses whatever is available to whip up a celeb-worthy creation.

Ugly Betty turns Project Runway with designer challenge
by Julia Ward, posted Jan 15th 2007 9:02AM
Ugly Betty is playing Project Runway with its design-inclined viewers. Between now and January 28th, you can submit a dress design to be used on an episode of the show. If you impress Betty's costume designer Eduardo Castro and the cast, you'll be flown out to watch a taping of the show featuring your design come to life. Of course, there's a catch. This design contest requires a little "Sister Maria tears down the curtains for playclothes" ingenuity.Goodbye Queer Eye
by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 12th 2007 6:45PM
Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, the once hugely popular makeover show on Bravo, has been canceled by the network. The series will have one last season coming up (titled Queer Eye: The Final Season). Design guru Thom Felicia gets his own show on the Style Network later this year.
This isn't a big surprise. Not only had ratings been dropping the last couple of years but the "buzz" that this show once had vanished completely. Personally, I got sick of all the "theme" blocks of episodes they did, like when the went to other areas of the country or did weddings. Nothing bores me more than planning a wedding, which I'm sure will thrill my fiancee in the future.
