Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - August 4
by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 4th 2007 9:07AM
It was just another day in the Big Brother 8 house yesterday. Just another day of lies, tears, deceit, and betrayal that is! If you're only watching the televised show, you don't even know who won the Head of House competition. If you're following the real-time happenings in the house, you know the winner and even the nominations for eviction. Yes, that's right. The nominations ceremony was held last night.
Did Amber cry? Don't you want to sneak a peek at the real happenings from inside the house? If you do, read on beyond the jump. You can't make me talk here on the main page! I won't betray my alliance and speak before the jump! Beware -- spoilers for Sunday night's show are rampant!

If you don't peek in here, you won't know the results of the endurance competition which left both viewers and houseguests hanging last night.Oh, and maybe other things happened, too. Yes, I'm being cryptic here. I must be cryptic before the jump. I have deep spoilers to share and just can't do it here on the main page.

Traditionally, Thursdays are one of the dullest days in the Big Brother 8 house. The day is usually filled with primping and housecleaning as if cameras aren't always on them. However, with the advent of the live voting on the live show so early this season, it can be a bit more interesting.Something just happened in the house which may change the course of tonight's show. Now, it may be a false alarm. But I feel it's necessary to let you know before the show tonight.
After all, Spoilers Is Me, or something to that effect. If you want to know the latest show spoilers, read on beyond the jump. Be warned -- this may be a huge spoiler and a big event!

Is all we see just a spool of lies coming from the televised Big Brother 8 show? Will the houseguests reap what they sow? Watching the live feeds, or even just reading about what's really happening in the house, gives a totally different perspective on the show. Some perspectives aren't pretty, such as the one shown here. But will the show air Kail trying to tie Jen's two front teeth together with dental floss for her? I highly doubt it! Yet I got to see it live. Aren't you jealous?
Why was Kail tying Jen's teeth together? The answer to that one as well as some deeper happenings can be found after the jump. Beware -- there are real spoilers ahead!

Big Brother 8: Episode 6

(S08E06) I know Amber's formal title is "Cocktail Waitress", but I'm thinking about writing the producers of Big Brother and seeing if we can't get that permanently changed to "Professional Crying Champion of the Universe."
I mean, seriously, have we made it through a single episode without her showcasing the puffy, reddened, "someone just kicked my puppy off of a bridge" face?
I'm surprised she doesn't walk around the house in a constant state of dehydration considering she loses about a quarter of her body weight in water each day through her overextended tear ducts.
The Amazing Race All-Stars: "Low to the Ground, That's My Technique" (season finale)

(S11E13) Ahhh... I really was rooting for the Beauty Queens! I think they were really, really bummed about coming in very close second. I wanted to cry with them. I'm not sure what my problem is with Eric & Danielle. I just felt like they didn't have a whole lot of personality, unlike the other teams in the top three. I feel like they pout a lot.

(S11E12) Next week is the season finale and I'm thankful for that. This has been my least favorite season of The Amazing Race (I didn't watch the family season). For the most part, the drama has been in the airports with teams constantly vying for the best flights. The challenges, for the most part, have been pretty lame. Very few of them have been physical and therefore have not been all that much of a victory for teams when they complete the tasks. This week's detour was an exception. The teams traveled a whopping 7,500 miles from Macau to Guam. There, only one team (Charla & Mirna) chose the challenge that actually meant anything. They packed up supplies and got to go on a military mission to drop them. The flight looked like so much fun! Of course, their task put them in last place so the other teams were smart not to choose it.

(S11E11) Did everybody catch the Travelocity ad at the very beginning of the episode? Sheesh. It took a few extra minutes to get into the race so Oswald and Danny could show off the vacation they won last week.Ooooh... I loved the whole Yield drama at the beginning of this episode. The beauty queens had already used their Yield but Danny & Oswald really needed cash so they offered to Yield whomever the queens wanted in exchange for cash. I was clapping with glee when the whole thing played out because I really don't like Eric & Danielle.

The Amazing Race All-Stars: "The Way You Look, Yeah"
by Anna Johns, posted Apr 9th 2007 1:21AM
(S11E09) I can't believe we're already down to five teams. This week, the teams flew a whopping 5,500 miles from Krakow, Poland to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. What is wrong with people that they don't yield people? It's a tool in the game to get ahead of the other teams. And then, teams that do get yielded are personally insulted!
This week, we saw a strong team break down, another strong team make a fatal mistake and a team that has been stumbling finally found its footing.

The Amazing Race All-Stars: "I'm Sorry I'm Wearing a Bathing Suit. It is Very Weird, I know."

(S11E03) This episode really had my heartrate going! When it came down to the end, there was a certain team that I wanted to be eliminated but they remain. Sigh. The teams remained in Chile this week. Things went from tense (thanks to Mirna) to hilarious (thanks to Rob) throughout the episode. I think my favorite team so far is Rob & Amber just because they're so laid back. Everyone else is taking this waaay too seriously.

The Amazing Race: We Won't Just Die, Like Roaches
by Deidre Woollard, posted Nov 27th 2006 7:10AM
(S10E11) The official title for this episode should really be "karma is a b," a quote from Alabama ladies, who without their goodie-goodie SixPack compatriots are turning into surprisingly fierce players. Still, of all four teams they are the ones who are probably most likely to get eliminated which makes me wonder why they are seen as such a threat by those marauding blondes known as the Beauty Queens. It doesn't exactly seem like a fair fight but it's the only thing in the race right now that's keeping things interesting.TV Squad Hot Topics
