Kyle Chandler as Eric Taylor in 'Friday Night Lights.'
Entering into its fourth season (and second since the NBC/DirecTV deal), Friday Night Lights is a show in transition on numerous levels. Personally, I think Moffett is a little young to play a seasoned veterinarian and father of a teenager, but I'm sure his youth had a lot to do with the recast.
