'Misfits' Season 3 Heads to Hulu in December
by Crystal Bell, posted Nov 16th 2011 3:00PM
The wait is finally over (American) 'Misfits' fans! Your favorite raunchy sci-fi teen dramedy is returning exclusively to Hulu for Season 3.At first, we were a little worried when Robert Sheehan said he was leaving the E4 hit. After all, who else was going as obscenely brash and funny as Nathan? But after seeing the first the few episodes of Season 3, we have to admit, actor Joe Gilgun looks pretty good in that orange jumpsuit. Gilgun's character Rudy is one part Nathan and one part painfully shy Simon circa Season 1 -- seriously!
The U.K. hit follows a group of young offenders forced to work in a community service program, where they acquire supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm.

When 'Misfits' returns for its third season on E4 across the pond, it'll be missing one very familiar face. Yep, Robert Sheehan, known to audiences as the smart-mouthed Nathan, is leaving the show. However, he's not exiting off-screen, he's getting his own special out of it!
On Thurs., Sept. 15, E4.com will host an exclusive film focusing on Nathan's exit from the series. He's got a new superpower and he's heading to Las Vegas.
Sneak Peek: Misfits
by Bob Sassone, posted Nov 12th 2009 4:29PM
So Heroes is probably on its way out this season or next, so how about a new series where a group of people find themselves with super powers?
Misfits is a British show about a group of teens who are struck by lightning and find they can do incredible things, including turn invisible, hear people's thoughts, control time (of course!), and send people into a sexual frenzy. Wow, all this time I've had a superpower and I didn't even know it (I'm talking about hearing people's thoughts). Here's a sneak peek, though it doesn't show that much. It premieres tonight at 8 on E4. It's Heroes + swearing! [via HeatWorld]

I've finally found someone to root for on the new Skins
by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 30th 2009 9:54AM

The plan from the beginning was that every two years the cast of Skins would be completely overhauled (almost) to keep it fresh and young. As I started watching the second generation several weeks ago, I realized that most of these kids were so unlikable.
As it progressed, I remembered that I found the first cast almost as unlikable, and realized the pattern of Skins. The first season of each generation shows us their weaknesses. They are children who've discovered sexuality, but have no comprehension of real world consequences. They don't think about their futures or much of anything beyond the next rush.
Then, in the second season we finally get to see them transitioning into young adulthood. I think it was the jarring slap back to to the uninhibited children that threw me. But still, I needed someone in that young cast to care about. Someone to root for.
