Jimmy Kimmel Keeps Showing Emily Blunt's Clip From His Humpilates Video (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 2nd 2011 4:40AM
Emily Blunt appears to have quickly come to regret her decision to appear in Jimmy Kimmel's fake exercise video for his Hottie Bodies Humpilates Hump Club. The full-length video premiered on Monday's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) and featured such hot young celebrities as Jessica Biel, Lindsay Lohan, Minka Kelly, Sofia Vergara and Blunt. But tonight, Blunt was looking to promote 'The Adjustment Bureau,' her new film with Matt Damon. Perhaps she brought it on herself by praising the experience of filming the video, and even giving the "product" credit for her feeling sore the next morning.
Ferguson Plays Therapist to Emily Blunt's Odd Habits (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Feb 9th 2011 7:40AM
Emily Blunt says she's become quite superstitious. One of the manifestations is the compulsion to "touch wood" six times. Of course, to Craig Ferguson on 'The Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), wood can mean a variety of things. This calls for further investigation. Adopting a Freudian accent, he asks, "You like to, ah, touch zee wood?"Playing along, Blunt replies, "Every piece of wood I see." Ferguson: "How much wood do you see?" When she says (chuckling) "a lot," he congratulates her on such "wood-finding capabilities."
Blunt then feels "really stupid." The host assures her, "Never feel stupid for touching wood."
Emily Blunt Discusses Her Fear of Santa Claus (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Dec 16th 2010 2:45AM
On 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM on NBC), actress Emily Blunt revealed her secret fear of Santa Claus -- or "Father Christmas," as she called him in her charming English accent. But why? Doesn't everyone love Santa? In turns out that Emily used to be frightened by any type of costume, including Santa's outfit. That's odd -- she's an actress, so her job is to wear costumes.
Still, that's Emily's fear, and she's sticking to it. And so, Jay Leno ran down a list of other things that frighten the actress. Apparently, Ms. Blunt was also terrified during a trip to Disney World (this was another costume-related thing). And her other big fear is ... circus clowns.
Emily Blunt Gets Hairy and Bradley Cooper Gets Dumped on 'Ellen' (VIDEO)
by Harley W. Lond, posted Feb 9th 2010 8:56PM
Emily Blunt was on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated) plugging her latest film, 'The Wolfman,' and she talked about the inane questions she gets while at press outings -- particularly European press tours. "They all ask the same thing because their English is a bit limited," she told DeGeneres. "What's the question everyone asks you?" DeGeneres asked. "Do you find the hairy men sexy" Blunt replied in her best "French" accent. Later, DeGeneres asked Blunt, "Aren't you scared of the wolfman? You're not attracted to the wolfman, are you?" "I'm attracted to the man and not the beast," she said. Then DeGeneres asked the question on everyone's mind: Is (Blunt's husband to be) John Krasinski hairy? But Emily was discreet on that one -- she tells no tales.
Bradley Cooper -- a really nice guy -- talked about the pain of getting dumped -- before he was a big star.
"I was in Peru one time ... I used to host this trek show ... I apologize to the very nice woman who dumped me ... if she sees this she'll be upset." "I'm sure she'll see it," DeGeneres said. "I'm sure she's sorry she dumped you now." Cooper then went on to describe how he wanted to take a breather in their relationship, but when he got to Peru he realized "she's the one." But on a long-distance call to tell her his feelings, she dumped him.
