Celebrities are not like you and me. They have crazy, jet-setting lives in which they do things like go to Dubai for the day, as Eva Longoria did recently. And as she told 'Late Night' (Weeknights., 12:30AM ET on NBC) host Jimmy Fallon, Dubai is one crazy place.

"It's like, fake, and it's like a baby Vegas." Now, we don't know if the streets in Dubai are actually paved with gold, but the ATMs there do dispense gold. Actual gold. Fallon held up a picture of Longoria standing next to a "Gold to Go" ATM. As she explained, "This ATM, you put money in, and it gives you a gold bar."

She was going to give it a whirl and take out her own gold bar but changed her mind when she discovered it would cost a whopping $2,000. That's a lot of chump change for what's basically a souvenir.

According to Forbes, the four main ladies of 'Desperate Housewives' made it on the list. So did Julianna Margulies of 'The Good Wife.'

'Desperate Housewives' took home the award for Favorite TV Series at 'The 2011 ALMA Awards' (Fri., 8PM ET on NBC). The American Latino Media Arts Awards honors the Latino community, so it was no surprise that Eva Longoria spoke on behalf of the show after creator Marc Cherry.

But the women did have a little bit of fun with it when Felicity Huffman chastised Longoria for not speaking in Spanish. She then proceeded to speak in Spanish, translating what Longoria was saying in English.

That said, while Felicity hung in there very well, she did start to struggle the further they went along. In the end, though, it was a very cute bit, shaking expectations and having a little bit of fun.

Eva Longoria didn't just host Saturday's ALMA Awards, she also produced the show, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinos in television, film, and music. Monday on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC), Longoria told Kit Hoover how much fun she had, both as a producer and co-hosting with George Lopez.

"I love behind-the-scenes," she said. "I love producing, I love putting things together. We work with the writers to write the content, we book all of the presenters, we book the music, and so then I was like, we've got to get a comedian on this show. And so we got George, who was a natural fit, and it's so fun to play off of him. We're just really good friends."

You'll have to look elsewhere for your soapy domestic drama come May 2012, because that's when 'Desperate Housewives' will conclude its eighth and final season. Although ABC hasn't yet sent official word, the network is expected to announce the big news at Sunday's Television Critics Association panel. UPDATE 8/7/11: ABC has since made it official.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the news was completely unexpected considering all four of the show's big stars -- Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, and Eva Longoria -- had signed on for two more years, and creator Marc Cherry had publicly stated he wanted the series to run for nine seasons.

Victoria Beckham may look like she has it all, but there was one thing she knew nothing about. Of course, it was more of a cultural thing, but Eva Longoria still rectified it, as she explained on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

She threw Beckam a baby shower. "They don't do showers in England." To make matters worse, "she was really nervous because she's not a game person."

Longoria's hairdresser egged Beckham on, advising her to wear a waterproof dress and bring an umbrella. But Beckham clearly had fun, as evidenced by a photo she Tweeted of several party-goers dressed in toilet paper dresses.

After her wardrobe malfunction -- from David Letterman's point of view at least -- on 'Late Show,' Eva Longoria was especially careful with her dress on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). While Jimmy Kimmel understood, he was none too pleased about it.

"Thanks for nothing," he said. "For me you cover up."

Longoria then talked about the strange turnaround that her career has had on her personal life. Thirteen or fourteen years ago, when she was just starting out in Hollywood, she used to crash on friends' couches. Now that she's successful, two of those same friends are living with her, though we're a little suspicious of the names Longoria gave.

Eva Longoria in (somewhat) newly single, having filed for divorce last year. On today's 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated), Longoria spoke of the awkwardness of dating as a celebrity, and gave a hint about how not to approach her if you happen to see her and would like to ask for a date. She is not terribly approachable just "on the street," she said, at least for amorous advances. She's fine with her fans.

So here's the "don't": Longoria has been making appearances to support 'Eva's Kitchen,' her new cookbook. This is not the best opportunity for a cheesy pick-up line. "There's so many guys who are like, 'I'm gonna cook out of your book so you can come over' and I'm like, 'Aaaagh!'" she said. "Gimme the book back!"

So, not only will that approach earn you a rejection, Longoria will make a loud, unpleasant noise, and you may also lose your book. She mostly meets people through her friends. So the best plan is to meet and make friends with one of her friends first. Good luck.

Eva Longoria appeared on 'Piers Morgan Tonight' (weeknights, 9PM ET on CNN) and spoke on camera about her divorce from basketball star Tony Parker for the very first time.

"What was it like for you when it all exploded, when it all came out, when ... the fairytale was suddenly hit by this hammer blow?" asked Piers Morgan.

Eva Longoria is a beautiful woman and has no problem flaunting it. She's been seen in skimpy clothes everywhere from red carpets to the gas pump. But, apparently it's a whole different experience up-close. At least according to David Letterman on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

Not helping matters was a possible wardrobe malfunction with the suit jacket she was wearing with nothing underneath. But even before that Letterman was so distracted he could barely talk.

"We're gonna lose our liquor license," he said after the near-incident. "I know it."

Eva Longoria of 'Desperate Housewives' showcased recipes from her cookbook 'Eva's Kitchen' on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). And Whoopi Goldberg was so taken with a corn dish that she went back for seconds and thirds during the interview.

As Goldberg helped herself to spoonfuls of the dish, she came perilously close to obscuring her co-hosts and Longoria from view. "You are blocking my shot!" Longoria said.

On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards' (Sun., 12AM ET on ABC), an abundance of Hollywood's hottest babes revealed the exercise routine responsible for their svelte look: Jimmy K and his Hottie Body Humpilates technique.

Jessica Alba, Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara were on hand to demonstrate in Jimmy Kimmel's infomercial, each humping an exercise ball (the "HoBo"). Dressed in red spandex, Jimmy K directed them: "Hump it up. Hump it down. Take a train to humpy town!" Eva Longoria revealed, "I couldn't stop humping! I hump everywhere -- at work, at the beach, in the car."

Lindsay Lohan appeared, hand in hand with Jimmy K, to give her full endorsement -- with the help of a lion. "Lions hump upwards of 40 times a night. I've spent thousands of hours watching them." Kimmel said, "The Jimmy K program is so affordable, it's practically a steal." Lohan chimed in, "Allegedly." Wink wink.

Apparently starring on one of ABC's most popular series -- not to mention three movies that are currently in post-production -- still leaves Eva Longoria enough free time to develop new TV shows.

Marriage troubles can't hold the 'Desperate Housewives' actress back -- Longoria and her production company, Unbelievable Entertainment, are working on three new shows. According to Deadline Hollywood, the Texas border town soap 'Sendera' (with 'Cold Case' actress Kathryn Morris) and 'Parenting by Committee' are for ABC, while 'Aztec' is being described as a potential miniseries for Starz.

Actress Eva Longoria has been on seven seasons of 'Desperate Housewives' -- and she's planning on returning for an eighth. With such long-term job security, you'd think she wouldn't need a second career. But on the new 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS), Ms. Longoria reveals that she has a backup plan.

Eva shares a rap video with host George Lopez. The video is from the MTV European Music Awards. In it, the actress wears a very skimpy outfit, while rapping her heart out in front of a huge crowd.

Here's a sample of Eva's lyrics: "I'm Eva Longori-a/ And this is my story-a." Okay, that's ... pretty good, sort of. Lopez is very enthusiastic. "Fantastic!" he says.

On 'Childrens Hospital' (Sun., 10:30PM ET on CN), "surgeon" Dr. Max von Sydow wheels his latest patient out of the operating room and announces, "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new and improved Chief!" Out from under the sheet pops not Megan Mullally but Eva Longoria.

"Wait, what happened to her curves ... the curves in her spine?" one doctor asks.

Longoria poses between two gurneys, exposing her new curves. She gives a snarky answer -- and apparently still has a particularly personal handicap that she divulges with the staff.
