Eva Longoria Shares Her Rapping "Skillz" on 'Lopez Tonight' (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Oct 21st 2010 5:50AM
Eva Longoria Shares Her Rapping 'Skillz' on 'Lopez Tonight'Actress Eva Longoria has been on seven seasons of 'Desperate Housewives' -- and she's planning on returning for an eighth. With such long-term job security, you'd think she wouldn't need a second career. But on the new 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS), Ms. Longoria reveals that she has a backup plan.

Eva shares a rap video with host George Lopez. The video is from the MTV European Music Awards. In it, the actress wears a very skimpy outfit, while rapping her heart out in front of a huge crowd.

Here's a sample of Eva's lyrics: "I'm Eva Longori-a/ And this is my story-a." Okay, that's ... pretty good, sort of. Lopez is very enthusiastic. "Fantastic!" he says.

Eva Longoria on 'The Next Food Network Star' (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Aug 2nd 2010 2:40AM
Eva Longoria on 'The Next Food Network Star'This next show brings into question what level of celebrity is actually worthy of being called a "celebrity." On 'The Next Food Network Star' (Sun., 9PM ET on Food Network), contestant Brad is terrified about serving food to Eva Longoria. ... Oh, Brad. We have to ask, why?

[Spoiler alert.]

Yes, Eva is currently on a TV series, and yes, she's a judge. And yeah -- she's currently married to an NBA star who hasn't won anything in a while. But we have to ask -- is this such a big deal? Brad seems to panic, and that doesn't really to help his case, cooking-wise. OMG! IT'S EVA LONGORIA! And he cares ... why?

In the end, Brad's excessive concern doesn't work out. He gets kicked off the cooking show. Dude; Brad. Just maybe relax a little next time around.

'Desperate Housewives' Doings: Brian Austin Green, Vanessa Williams and More - TCA Report

by Joel Keller, posted Jul 28th 2010 9:26AM
Eva Longoria Parker answers questions on the set of 'Desperate Housewives'Greetings from Beverly Hills! On the first day of the TCA summer press tour, the assembled critics didn't get penned up in the Beverly Hilton's International Ballroom listening to panels all day (that starts tomorrow with CBS). We were allowed to roam free on the sets of 'Desperate Housewives,' 'Parenthood,' and 'Undercovers' (the new J.J. Abrams show).

I'll write a bit about 'Parenthood' later in the week, mostly to talk about some fun stuff from Lauren Graham, but for now let's concentrate on 'Housewives' Marc Cherry held court with reporters on the Wisteria Lane set, with stars Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria Parker, and Vanessa Williams to back him up. He gave some interesting tidbits about the show's upcoming seventh season. It'll be all about conflict and Brian Austin Green, not necessarily in that order:

How Much Longer Can ABC Keep 'Desperate Housewives' Cast From Bolting?

by Gary Susman, posted Apr 29th 2010 2:00PM
With the sixth season of 'Desperate Housewives' winding down, how much longer can the series stay on the air? Depends on the players and how long ABC can get them to stick around.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the network would like another two seasons. Creator Marc Cherry has spoken of a nine-season run. But the core cast - Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and Eva Longoria Parker - are contracted for only one more season, and so far, says Deadline, there's been little negotiation between the network and the stars about an eighth season.

Heidi Klum Tells Gaby Off on 'Desperate Housewives' (VIDEO)

Desperate Housewives, Heidi KlumOh, Gaby. Never cross Heidi Klum! Taping toilet paper to the bottom of her Manolo Blahniks was not only dumb, but clearly, it'll come back to haunt you for the rest of your life, as you learned on 'Desperate Housewives' (Sun., 10PM ET on ABC).

Then again, it was pretty fun for us, the viewers, to see you get told off by Klum. So go ahead and keep doing stupid stuff after all. In fact, we insist.

Guess who's coming to Sesame Street?

by Danny Gallagher, posted Jan 21st 2010 10:40PM
There are few signs in this crazy business that you have become an indelible and beloved member of the pop culture lexicon than getting a cameo appearance on an episode of Sesame Street. Case in point: Gallagher, O.J. Simpson and Kanye West have yet to appear on an episode of Sesame Street.

Well, would you want West teaching your kids the difference between "near" and "far," things that are yellow and why George Bush hates black people?

Some upcoming episodes of the long running PBS kids' show will include appearances by Christina Applegate on Jan. 25, Hugh Jackman on Jan. 27, Debi Mazar and Sarah Jessica Parker on Feb. 16 and Paul Rudd and Eva Longoria-Parker on Feb. 18.

The weirdest thing you'll see all day: Eva Longoria and Tony Parker do Grease

by Kona Gallagher, posted Dec 29th 2009 6:03PM
eva longoriaI ran across this video while perusing Gawker, and I honestly have no idea what it is. Well, that's not true: I know what it is, it's a shot-by-shot remake of the songs "Summer Lovin'" from Grease, starring Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria-Parker and her husband, NBA player, Tony Parker. What I don't have an answer for, is why.

Other than Tony talking in the beginning, the video is completely lip-synced, so neither one is trying to show off their vocal talents. Her wig looks like she scalped a parcel of barbies, and his looks like he's trying to honor a beloved, yet dead family pet by gently nestling it on his cranium for the rest of eternity, so "looking good" can't be much of a motive either.

Joining her will be the wives and girlfriends of NBA stars Eric Williams, Antoine Walker, Jermaine O'Neal and Udonis Haslem. Yet not in the mix is probably the most famous NBA wife: 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria Parker, who is married to San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker.

'Lopez Tonight' Gets a Premiere Present: Eva Longoria Working a Stripper Pole

by Donald Deane, posted Nov 10th 2009 8:46AM
Making good on a promise she made to George Lopez should his late-night talk show show get picked up, Eva Longoria Parker attempted to wow the crowd with her moves on a stripper pole on last night's premiere of 'Lopez Tonight.'

Although protesting mildly, the star of 'Desperate Housewives' still managed to pull off what online pole dancing tutorials tell us is a back hook spin. Not to be outdone, Lopez tried his hand at the pole himself while wearing a suit and ended up none too gracefully on the floor. Now that's sexy.

Well, season five of Desperate Housewives has come to a close. I must say, this season sort of meandered towards the beginning, but really gained steam towards the end. The final episode brought a few stories together, including psycho Dave's, and ended with some good stories heading into next season.
