by Brad Linder, posted Aug 1st 2007 8:00PM
AVerMedia has released another update to its line of TV tuners, with an HDTV/analog tuner for laptops. The AverTV Hybrid ExpressCard TV tuner is compatible with Windows XP, Windows XP MCE 2005, and Windows Vista. The new card supports up to 1080i HD signals with 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
You'll need a laptop with an ExpressCard interface to use the card. Otherwise, you might want to take at AVerMedia's latest USB tuner, which is somewhat less portable.
The AverTV Hybrid ExpressCard will set you back about $130.
