Julie Bowen Gets Unexpectedly Picked Up By Fabio on 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 12th 2011 4:30AM
Proving that she lives the show every day for which she won an Emmy this year, Julie Bowen related the story about how her children have already broken the statue on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). Apparently, it makes a great football tee.It may have seemed bizarre, then, that Jay Leno wanted to talk about her time working on the syndicated show 'Acapulco H.E.A.T.' The series ran for two seasons in the mid-1990s and starred Fabio, who Bowen lamented she never got a chance to meet.
Battle of the 'Old Spice' Guys: Isaiah Mustafa Goes Up Against Fabio (VIDEO)
by Catherine Lawson, posted Jul 26th 2011 5:45AM
It's going to be sweaty and dirty, but oh-so-great-smelling later today when the old and new 'Old Spice' guys go at each other in the bathroom. That's right: Isaiah Mustafa has accepted his successor Fabio's challenge to a duel. The two hunks, tongues squarely in cheeks, will face off at 12PM ET Tuesday, in the online showdown billed as "Mano a Mano in El Baño."
Fabio issued the challenge yesterday with the aid of two comedy duelling pistols and Mustafa quickly accepted, ridiculing his opponent's tactics: "A real man would have challenged me to a duel with a left-to-right slap across the face."

'Survivor: Nicaragua' Winner: 'My Immediate Plan Is to Push Limits'
by Audrey Fine, posted Dec 20th 2010 7:00PM
After months of jockeying for position, backstabbing and other such endearing maneuvers that make 'Survivor' such a joy to watch, we have a new winner. At 21, Judson "Fabio" Birza is the youngest ever 'Survivor' millionaire and he managed to achieve that honor without an alliance. No small feat.
With his "goofy" charm and laid-back surfer dude mannerisms (not too shabby for a boy from Missouri), Fabio truly did stay under the 'Survivor: Nicaragua' radar until it was time to shift in to high gear and win three Immunity Challenges in a row. Talk about clutch. No choking for this model, musician, student, heartthrob.
How is the newly minted millionaire processing his win? We spoke to him this morning from rain-soaked Los Angeles where, on 25 minutes of sleep, he was as delightfully whimsical as always.
'Survivor' Changes Up the Game -- Finally
by Stephanie Earp, posted Dec 20th 2010 5:00PM

Another season of 'Survivor' has come and gone -- and I guess I can even say the person I was rooting for won. The thing is, I only starting rooting for Fabio two weeks ago, when I realized that the time to pick a favorite had long since passed. Sure, like a lot of people, I was rooting for the male model formerly known as Judson, but only from a dearth of options. What was I supposed to do? Root for 'villainous' Sash, whose claim to fame was getting Marty to give up an idol? Sash called himself a backstabber, but his mild-mannered play looked more like a back massage to me. Come on, guy! Villains are supposed to be evil!
Then there was Chase, who floated to the final four like a pretty princess, never really making any calls at all. And even Fabio, who pulled off that triple immunity win right when he needed it, seemed fairly clueless most of the time. I would like to point out that it takes a very fine actor to play dumb. I'm not sure Fabio is the next Tom Hanks, you know what I mean? Sigh. This was pretty sorry batch of castaways, let's be honest.
And the 'Survivor: Nicaragua' Winner Is ... (VIDEO)

After 39 days in the wilderness, after living through fire and rain, after the players survived stolen food and even survived NaOnka -- it was time to declare a winner on 'Survivor: Nicaragua' (Sun., 8PM ET on CBS).Five contestants entered the finale, but Dan was voted out after the first immunity challenge, and Holly -- the last female contestant -- was voted out following the second challenge. This left us with the all-male group of Chase, Fabio and Sash. And the winner of 'Survivor: Nicaragua' is ...
What You Missed Last Night: Conan screws up a comedy bit
by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 7th 2009 11:31AM
I love it when comedy sketches don't go right. That can often be funnier than the sketch itself. Last night, Conan O'Brien played a game called "Sanford or Steele," where Andy Richter had to guess whether a quote was from Governor Mark Sanford or romance-novelist Danielle Steele. Richter asks to phone-a-friend and the friend is Fabio. It always irks me when the appearance by a celeb is prerecorded and they try to act as if it isn't (this happens on Letterman's show sometimes), so it's funny to see it backfire once.
