Beware of flat screen TVs that are actually oven doors
by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 3rd 2006 3:44PM
This is just too bizarre for words. (But that isn't
stopping me from blogging about it, of course!)A woman bought a flat screen television, and it came to her house (with a remote control and a cord)...but it turns out, the "flat screen television" was in reality the glass door from a large oven!
The first tip off should have been the price: $300 (marked down from $500). As a public service, here are some other items that people might try to pass off as flat screen TVs. Please beware:
- car windshields
- glass coffee table tops
- the window from your living room
