Hardly Knew You: The Short-Lived Shows of 2010
by Rich Keller, posted Dec 20th 2010 5:40PM
Not everything is a long-running classic in the fickle world that is television. You may feel that your show has the right mix of acting, writing and directing to be a favorite for indefinite first-run and syndicated airings, but the viewers may have other ideas. And when that happens, your show could disappear before the cover art is even dry for the complete series DVD set.
The year 2010 had no shortage of these short timers. In fact, the 2010-2011 season has already seen not one, not two but three series that bowed out after only two episodes. This, despite long-promoted hype and pre-season buzz. Mentioned here are the 2010 programs that had shorter runs than the presidency of William Henry Harrison.
'Fly Girls' Cleared For Take-Off
by Shawn Perine, posted Apr 3rd 2010 8:00AM
This just in from the "It Makes Sense" department: With nearly every square inch of terra firma claimed by one reality show or another there's just one logical place left to take the genre: into the wild blue yonder. The new reality docu-series 'Fly Girls' is a close-up look at the high-flying lives of five Virgin America flight attendants as they crisscross the country, directing attention to exit signs when on duty and to themselves when off.
Tasha Gets Into It With Nikole on 'Fly Girls' (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Apr 1st 2010 3:08AM
Here's a tip: If you're ever out having drinks with a friend, never ever answer their phone and say the person's getting drunk. Because it could be their son, as Nikole learned when she stupidly answered Tasha's phone on 'Fly Girls' (Wed., 9PM ET on The CW)."Oh no, she didn't," said Tasha in her little interview, and we're totally with her on this one. We're just amazed she didn't smack Nikole over the head with her phone.

'Fly Girls' Show Us Mile-High Flirting (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Mar 25th 2010 10:30AM
Apparently, flight attendants not only flirt -- they have "IFBs" (that is, in-flight boyfriends). So it was revealed on last night's 'Fly Girls' (Wen., 9PM on CW) series premiere. "It's a cute guy that you scope out to help the time fly," explains one Virgin America flight attendant.
See how it's done when she sets her eye on the hottie in 18C. The girl's got game.
