Yet another food competition show coming in January, because we need more food competition shows
by Bob Sassone, posted Nov 17th 2008 5:12PM
So I woke up this morning and I thought to myself, "you know what we need more of on television? Food competition shows! 27 just isn't enough, we need a 28th."Then I saw the preview for Food Network's new show Chopped, which debuts in January and will be hosted by Queer Eye For The Straight Guy star Ted Allen. Contestants on the show will have to make a three course meal out of a series of ingredients that the show gives him or her. The loser has the title of the show done to him and he is served the following week with a wine that Allen will choose (perhaps a 2001 Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon?). The show will have a panel of judges, a money prize, yippity-bippity-do, etc.
Are you ready to Hurl?

Game show titles have a way of telling you exactly what you can expect if you tune in to them. The Price Is Right is about guessing prices, Card Sharks was a game that involved a deck of cards, and Match Game was about matching your word with the word picked by a celebrity. Of course, the whole list of examples breaks down a bit when you consider Jeopardy!, which could be about anything, really.
But add to the list Hurl, the new game show coming this summer to G4. To quote from the network, it's a show that "combines speed-eating with intense physical challenges." Yes, you read that right.
Big Brother 9: Live feeds report - March 2

Although this season of Big Brother 9 isn't quite the norm (as much as a norm this show can have), there are some constants when compared to past seasons. The editing, what production wants the viewers to perceive, is more obviously distorted when the viewer can watch live feeds. This sort of editing happens for every reality show out there, but it's only Big Brother where we can see what's really happening. The promos for tonight's show were first a love affair betwixt Ryan and Allison, then some sort of showdown with Joshuah and Allison. What's really going on? For show Sunday and Tuesday show spoilers, read on past the jump.

Last night we lost Alex and Amanda. But how have the dynamics inside the Big Brother 9 house changed since the live show? From what Julie Chen said at the end of the show, we can expect the unexpected next week. Right now we have more of an inkling of upcoming changes than do the hamsters. So ... who's screaming at whom today? Have alliances shifted once again? How are Joshuah and Sharon handling their Head of House reign thus far?
Read on past the jump, but there are show spoilers on the other side!
Big Brother 9: Live feeds report - Feb. 21

After last night, the hamsters of the Big Brother 9 house have a new Head of House couple. How is the new royalty faring with the peasants?Has there been frolicking? Fisticuffs? And, just how will they drink those margaritas without drinking cups?
With this group of houseguests, you really can't predict what's going to happen next. But if you watch the live feeds or read the live feed reports, you too can be a step or two ahead of the aired shows.
For the latest news, read on past the jump. There will be show spoilers. You've been warned!
