by Oliver Miller, posted Jun 18th 2010 1:10AM

by Oliver Miller, posted Jun 11th 2010 1:50AM
It's ex-spy helping ex-spy on 'Burn Notice' (Thu., 9PM ET on USA). Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) is responsible for blowing the cover of an agent named Jesse Porter. Yes, Porter (played by Coby Bell) has been "burned" just like Michael has. Now, the only way to save Jesse is to go undercover.[Spoiler alert.]

by Oliver Miller, posted Jun 4th 2010 3:15AM
It's always weird to come back to a job after a long time away on vacation. At the end of the last season of 'Burn Notice' (Thu., 9PM ET on USA), Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) was kidnapped by a secret organization. Now, he's back. And he's a little surprised to find that life has moved on without him.[Spoiler alert.]
'Burn Notice' Gets a New Regular Cast Member
by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 9th 2010 2:16PM
'Burn Notice' just ended its third season and now comes word that they're adding a new regular character to mix with Michael, Fiona, Sam, and Madeline.Coby Bell, who had regular roles on such shows as 'Third Watch,' 'The Game,' and 'L.A. Doctors' (no, I don't remember that 1999 show, though it sounds like something that should have been a hint, doesn't it?) will join the cast as Jesse Garcia.
The Hollywood Reporter describes the character as "a cocky and sarcastic counterintelligence expert with a chameleon-like ability to assume different cover identities and an intense desire to see bad guys punished.' Wait, that sounds a lot like Michael! He finds himself in Miami, too, and hooks up with the gang for what I'm assuming will be lots of action.
Gabrielle Anwar Talks About Her Kids and Her Love Life on 'Wendy Williams' (VIDEO)
by Harley W. Lond, posted Feb 23rd 2010 9:13PM
Gabrielle Anwar ('Burn Notice') believes in honesty. On 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Williams asked her about her family life. "You're a single mother of three?" Wendy asked.
"Yes," Anwar replied.
"Is that one baby-father?"
"No, that's lots of daddies."
Not quite taken aback, Williams next asked, "Are you dating?"
Anwar: "Well I like men ... I like women too."

The Twelve Days of Festivus: Eleven babes worth watchin'
by Mike Moody, posted Dec 13th 2009 10:39AM
On the eleventh day of Festivus, TV gave to me ... eleven babes worth watchin' .Festivus is here, and is there a better way to celebrate than by taking stock of all the alluring TV hotties we've been obsessing over this year? I think not. (It's sure a beats counting down the year's stinkiest shows, anyway.)
For this year's list, we decided to stray a little from last year's Maxim covergirl-friendly tally to highlight the small screen starlets who charmed us not only with their hotness, but also with their talent. So head after the jump as we celebrate the 11th day of Festivus by counting down 11 babes worth watchin'.
USA (Officially) Renews 'Burn Notice' for Fourth Season
by Allyssa Lee, posted Nov 24th 2009 3:57PM
Burn, baby, burn. Hot on the heels of USA's recent announcement to bring its detective series 'Psych' back for its fifth season comes news that the network has also renewed its hit spy drama 'Burn Notice' for a fourth year.
Burn Notice: Long Way Back (summer finale)
by Allison Waldman, posted Aug 7th 2009 1:43AM

(S03E09) Wow! Talk about a powerful finale. There were a lot of plot points and emotional issues addressed, and if you had any question about Michael's true loyalty, this show answered it. Burn Notice goes on hiatus -- is that what they call it? -- till the winter, and it's going to be a long rest of the summer and fall waiting for the story to resume. There was change in the air, what with Michael inching closer to a return to the CIA -- or so it seemed. More on all that and the blistering finale after the jump.
Burn Notice: Friends Like These
by Allison Waldman, posted Jul 31st 2009 3:02AM

(S03E08) In the latest Michael adventure, our hero was hell-bent on getting back into intelligence work – nothing new, really. However, that meant dancing with Strickler, a foxtrot that Fiona was reluctant to take part in ...
More on Fiona's vulnerabilities after the jump. Meanwhile, another job popped up when Barry, money launderer and occasional member of the Michael troupe of operatives, called in all his favors and became the client.
USA orders renewals for Burn Notice and hot new series Royal Pains
by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 29th 2009 12:03PM
USA has to be rather pleased. Last week, the top rated show on cable was Burn Notice. And their newest series Royal Pains is hanging in there impressively in fourth place, creating a powerful Thursday night lineup. As a reward, word has it that USA has renewed both Burn Notice and Royal Pains.I first fell into Royal Pains because I have this bizarre fascination with the Hamptons. I hadn't even heard of it until a few years ago, and now it's just fascinating to me. Here's a place full of people I will never get to mingle with, living and partying somewhere that I will never go. It's Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous with a plot.
Burn Notice I've not watched because I didn't jump in when it first started (regular readers may remember that I have a thing about that), though I should probably just get over it and check it out. It has Bruce Campbell in it, and he's always a blast and I've heard nothing but good things about it. Regardless, it's more good news for cable broadcasting while the networks keep crying away the summer.
Burn Notice: Shot in the Dark
by Allison Waldman, posted Jul 24th 2009 10:02AM

(S03E07) Burn Notice usually stays on the fun side of spying. This episode was all about getting back to doing a Robin Hood job, and since it tapped into Michael's psychology so perfectly, it added a good dollop of emotion to the fun.
And there was also that preview from last week that left fans gasping. Was one of the gang of three going down? Fortunately, in the world of spoilers and such, if that were true it would have been all over the net. Fortunately, it was all part of the con. More on that after the jump.
Here's video of the Burn Notice gang laughing, swearing, and burping
by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 23rd 2009 5:41PM
If you read my updated TV Squad profile, you'll see that besides infomercials, my guilty pleasure is blooper shows. You don't see many of them on TV nowadays, but you do get a lot of gag reels on DVD sets. Since Burn Notice is on tonight I thought I'd post this clip of season two outtakes. They sure do swear a lot.
Burn Notice: Signals and Codes
by Allison Waldman, posted Jul 10th 2009 10:08AM

(S03E05) Michael Weston met Michael Westen. How cool was it that Burn Notice cast actor Michael Weston -- remember him as the private eye who helped House last year? As a psycho/math genius/code breaker/pattern spotter named Spencer Witawski, he was sort of a detective here, too, good enough to have tracked down Michael and become the latest client.
As integral episodes go, this was a major one. Major for Michael and his desire to return to government work and major for the status of Fiona and Michael's relationship. And did I mention that it was a major league great show, too? More after the jump.
Michael Westen is about to get yet another nemesis
by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 29th 2009 5:28PM
It seems like everyone is out to get Burn Notice's Michael Westen in one way or another. An old buddy from the spy days will come back to see him and he'll end up being a bad guy, or he'll have other evildoers trying to kill, control and/or blackmail him. Now we have another one coming to the show for four episodes, and it's someone who was in not one but two different recent FOX shows. That's right, it's Cleveland from Family Guy and The Cleveland Show! OK, that's not true. It's actually someone who was in both Prison Break and Mental.
Burn Notice: what's in store for Michael, Sam, and Fiona this season
by Bob Sassone, posted May 29th 2009 11:27AM
OK, so the video below isn't really a preview of the new season of Burn Notice (which premieres next Thursday, and note that it's at a new time, 9 PM), but it is a fun extended promo for the show. USA Today has a good piece on the show, including a set visit and info on what we can expect this season.
