Alan's Worst Day Ever Bookended by Gary Busey on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 15th 2011 1:30AM
Gary Busey, 'Two and a Half Men'If Alan thought losing his mind and thinking he was his brother Charlie was about as bad as it could get, he was in for quite a shock when he got out of the stress clinic loony bin on 'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS). While last week seemed to be a final tribute to Charlie Harper, this week was all about the show, and hopefully its audience, moving on and embracing this new situation.

This was done by showing Alan his worst possible life, only to thankfully awaken back in the stress clinic with roommate Gary Busey. Could you cast a better loony bin roomie than Busey?

Gary Busey Crashes 'Tonight Show' to Ask Why He's Not a Guest More Often (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 6th 2011 4:45AM
Gary Busey, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'"When are you gonna have Gary Busey back on the show?" the strange bearded man from the audience asked Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). "He's an amazing guest."

But Gary Busey's brilliant disguise was no match for Leno's brutal interrogation methods. "What is your name, sir?" he asked.

"Gary Busey," Busey replied immediately, and then began cursing himself. He then charged the stage and got dragged out of the studio by security. He's right! Busey's definitely entertaining, but he's almost more fun out of the box like this than as a proper guest.

Gary Busey Came Up With All Those Weird Celebrity Baby Names (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 12th 2011 6:12AM
Gary Busey, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'Alicia Silverstone recently named her newborn son Bear Blu. It's just the latest in a long string of unique -- and, many would say, bizarre -- baby names celebrities are coming up with. Why is that? Where do they get those names? 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) had the answer, and it's the only logical solution.

"Hi, I'm Gary Busey, and I name babies," Busey said in an infomercial for his hotline service for celebrities. It's such a brilliantly clever bit, and of course Busey would be game to play off of his perceived insanity.

Gary Busey Calls 'Celebrity Apprentice' Teammates Backstabbers and Idiots (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 19th 2011 3:18AM
Gary Busey, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'This past Sunday marked a sad day on 'Celebrity Apprentice.' It was the day that Gary Busey was fired, leaving Team Backbone with Meat Loaf, John Rich and Lil John. Busey went onto 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) and didn't mince words about his former teammates.

"But they turned out to be not Backbone," he said. "[But] backstabbers. When you see Lil John, John Rich and Meat Loaf, you know somewhere there's three villages missing their idiots."

Busey talked more about Meat Loaf's now-infamous screaming rampage, and how he "was laughing at him inside, but I was feeling sorry for him in my eyes."

Gary Busey Backs Donald Trump for President, Says You Should Too (VIDEO)

Gary Busey on 'The Wendy Williams Show'Donald Trump may have fired Gary Busey on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' but today on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Busey backed Trump for president.

"He's a great man," said Busey. "He's got an awareness level that's very high, and I'm going to vote for him for president, and I suggest you all do. Because he has the wherewithal to turn this country over, turn the dump over, get out of where we are now."

Busey added that although he respects the sitting president, he thinks there has been a "con job," and that nothing President Obama promised has happened. We're pretty sure Busey's just angling for a VP nomination.

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Season 4, Episode 7 Recap

by Katy Kroll, posted Apr 18th 2011 5:45AM
['The Celebrity Apprentice' - 'Raising the Steaks']

Last week, two players went into 'The Celebrity Apprentice' boardroom and only one came out -- the wrong one.

Donald Trump's firing of Mark McGrath over Gary Busey left the men's team reeling over the fact they'd have to work with the wild card actor once again.

When Gary emerged victorious from the boardroom, his teammates looked defeated. The women, on the other hand, were ecstatic because they saw the strife creating an easy win for them. And they were right ...

Did Donald Trump Finally Put Meat Loaf Out of His Misery on 'Celebrity Apprentice'? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 18th 2011 2:57AM
Donald Trump, 'Celebrity Apprentice'It's been no secret that Meat Loaf has been struggling with various aspects of his time on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (Sun., 9PM on NBC). But the greatest source of frustration for him has been Gary Busey.

Almost from the beginning, the two of them have not gotten along. It even culminated in a largely undeserved and disturbing expletive-filled freak-out by Meat Loaf toward Busey over art supplies.

This week, Busey was the project manager for team Backbone in a 20-minute live cooking demonstration. Could Backbone pull it together and stop their losing skid at two weeks in a row, or was it back to the Boardroom?

Is It the End of the Road for Gary Busey on 'Celebrity Apprentice'?

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 11th 2011 4:21AM
Gary Busey & Mark McGrath, 'Celebrity Apprentice'Gary Busey's unpredictability has had the men on the edge of their nerves for weeks now on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (Sun., 9PM on NBC). Last week, Meat Loaf had an infamous meltdown of expletives and rage toward Busey, though that was ultimately undeserved. But it's safe to say that Busey has been a difficult teammate.

This week, he was up to his antics again during the challenge, driving the guys crazy and even hitting up the Australian Gold executives for some work.

Mark McGrath was the project manager for the men's team, and LaToya Jackson took point for the women. While both teams did exceptionally well, one team stayed on task and sold the message better.

Gary Busey Relives Meat Loaf's 'Celebrity Apprentice' Explosion (VIDEO)

Gary Busey, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' talking 'Celebrity Apprentice'Gary Busey didn't offer any new insight into the now-infamous Meat Loaf meltdown on 'Celebrity Apprentice' with his appearance on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). What he did bring, though, was a delightful interpretation of what happened.

In his recapping of the events that set the Internet ablaze this past Sunday night, he went from the calm demeanor he displayed throughout the ordeal to Meat Loaf's explosive craziness in a split second. Back and forth several times, it was a virtuoso performance.

"Any show where Gary Busey is the voice of reason I find fascinating," Leno said.

Meat Loaf's Epic Meltdown Toward Gary Busey on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 4th 2011 12:40AM
Meat Loaf, 'Celebrity Apprentice'Hey, Gary Busey. Bet you didn't see that one coming, did you? Neither did anyone else, but Meat Loaf certainly had the mother of all meltdowns on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (Sun., 9PM ET on NBC) this week. And it was all over art supplies.

See, when you can't find your art supplies, you have two options. You can either start looking around for them and asking if anyone's seen them, or you can do what Meat Loaf did.

When he started pacing and cursing no one had any idea what was going on. When asked what the matter was a few times, he finally responded. "I bought those motherf****** sponges!"

Gary Busey Wants More Time On 'Access Hollywood Live' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Mar 31st 2011 3:50PM
Gary Busey on 'Access Hollywood Live'Gary Busey got the regular six or seven minutes for his interview on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC), but he apparently felt it was insufficient time to contain his signature brand of crazy. When his interview with Kit Hoover and guest co-host Star Jones was over, he stood up and yelled, jokingly, for more time.

Busey was on talking about 'Celebrity Apprentice,' which he called "the biggest carnival on the air." Jones, who along with Busey is a contestant on the show, gave Donald Trump his due. "It's like going to Donald J. Trump's boot camp for business," said Busey. "You pray for the best, prepare for the worst, you expect the unexpected, with sleep deprivation."

The interview pretty much ended there, but as the hosts were giving the outro to the segment, Busey shouted, "Is that it? Is that it? Is that it? Hey! This is short." At least he seemed cheerful about it.

McConaughey weighed in with his opinion on the competition's strongest players, the relationship between Star Jones and NeNe Leakes, and the ever-loopy Gary Busey.

She's a diva, but she's good at it. Even when she's not team leader, she's taking control back there."
