Three Moons Over Milford canceled
by Bob Sassone, posted Sep 28th 2006 2:35PM
In the least surprising TV news of the week, ABC Family has canceled the summer-launched family drama Three Moons Over Milford. The premiere episode only got 1.6 million viewers, and didn't really improve after that.
While I'm linking to Variety, does anyone else every get annoyed when you read something in the mag? They have all these short declarations instead of complete sentences. For example, instead of saying "The cable network confirmed Thursday..." they take out the "the" and just start with "Cable network confirmed Thursday..." Gah.
(Oh, in case you're wondering, this doesn't count in our contest, because it premiered during the summer.)
Maury Povich sued for sexual harassment - BREAKING NEWS
by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 24th 2006 9:16PM
A producer on Maury Povich's daytime talk show has filed a $100 million lawsuit against him, NBC Universal and other staff members on the show. The court papers say that not only was she forced to watch porno movies, suffer sexual remarks, and expose her body in undercover assignments, she was also forced to endure the details of another staff member's affair with Povich. The defendants deny all charges. The woman says she is in therapy because of what happened to her. Wow, just add some screaming and a blood test, and it's like an episode of the show.
