['Glee' -- 'Hold on to Sixteen']Say what you want about 'Glee,' but any show that can actually pull off an amazing 'Man in the Mirror' cover is OK in my books, and that's exactly what the New Directions did in 'Hold on to Sixteen. 'But it was more than just 'the Sectionals episode.' It actually gave me some hope for the rest of the season, hope that the writers had not forgotten about their characters.
Crazy Quinn? She's gone ... Hooray! It's been a rough few seasons with Quinn, but here's hoping that her crazy spell is officially over because I happen to really love Dianna Agron.
I don't know what I enjoyed more in this episode: Sam's anticipated return, the Troubletones awesome 'Survivor/I Will Survive' diva mash-up, the New Directions' Jackson family medley or Rachel and Quinn's surprising character developments.

It's New Directions v. the Troubletones in next week's all new 'Glee' (Tues., 8PM ET on Fox). In 'Hold on to Sixteen,' it's Sectionals time, but without Rachel to rely on, the New Directions need a little extra help from an old friend -- Sam Evans!Trouty Mouth -- and his guitar -- return just in time to help the New Directions take down the Troubletones at Sectionals, but Santana and Mercedes aren't going down without a fight. And judging by the recently released video of the Troubletones diva-licious Sectionals mash-up, 'Survivor/I Will Survive,' the New Directions are going to have quite a challenge on their hands.
But how can you go wrong with a Jackson family medley? Not to mention that Sam must have some crazy dance skills now that he's spent some time as White Chocolate.
Listen to the songs -- and see Sam get down with his red solo cups -- after the jump.
