Today, PopEater has the exclusive premiere of the 'Thriller' / 'Heads Will Roll' mashup, which combines the Michael Jackson classic with Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 2009 hit. YYYs paid homage to 'Thriller' for their own 'Heads Will Roll' video, so the connection isn't completely out of left field. Plus, both songs feature creepy organ music that the 'Glee' gang turned into a fun, poppy dance beat.

'Glee' What's that? You're excited for New Directions to head to sectionals on 'Glee' tomorrow night? Sorry, we couldn't hear you over the constant loop of 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' and 'Dog Days are Over' we've been playing all day.

Last week we heard Santana tackle 'Valerie,' Sam and Quinn duet on '(I've Had) The Time of My Life,' and Blaine lead the Warblers in an a cappella version of Train's 'Hey Soul Sister.' Today, the rest of the songs from the already jam-packed episode have leaked, including 'Dog Days,' separate Kurt and Rachel versions of 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' and the Hipsters' cover of 'The Living Years.'

If all goes according to the 'Glee' producers' plan, CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric could suit up for an appearance during the Fox show's much-hyped post-Super Bowl episode. According to Deadline Hollywood, Couric is "in talks" to cameo in the Feb. 6 episode.

The appearance would reportedly feature Couric in a scene with Jane Lynch. One of the episode's plots involves the Cheerios competing in their regional cheerleading championships.

Why Is 'Glee' Obsessed With Bruno Mars? Listen to Both of His Songs From 'Furt' Here

by Jean Bentley, posted Nov 22nd 2010 5:00PM
Bruno MarsTomorrow's episode of 'Glee' is dedicated to the origins of Sue Sylvester and her Nazi-hunting mother, played by Carol Burnett, with a significant side plot dedicated to the nuptials of Kurt's dad and Finn's mom. But it seems the episode is also unofficially dedicated to the oeuvre of Bruno Mars.

Two of the four tracks from 'Furt' are by Mars: the hit single 'Just the Way You Are' and the album cut 'Marry You.' We have just one major question: Which 'Glee' producer is so impressed with Bruno Mars that essentially four of his tracks have been covered this season, which is a mere eight episodes long so far?

Besides the two tracks from tomorrow's show, Mars was featured on the Travie McCoy song 'Billionaire,' which newbie Chord Overstreet covered in the first episode. Plus, Mars co-wrote 'F*** You,' the Cee Lo Green song covered by Gwyneth Paltrow in its radio-friendly form ('Forget You') last week.

'Glee': Watch "Teenage Dream" Now

by Jean Bentley, posted Nov 5th 2010 4:30PM
'Glee' Yesterday we heard a snippet from 'Glee''s upcoming "Teenage Dream" cover, and now the entire scene has been released online. Newbie Darren Criss serenades Kurt with the Katy Perry tune when Mr. Hummel transfer to an all-boys private school. Our favorite part: when Blaine adjusts the collar on Kurt's jacket -- super-adorable, and the kind of move that gets analyzed over and over again in countless teen magazines.

Katy Perry tweeted her approval, writing "Oh...My...Gosh... this just brought a sweet tear to my eye! Teenage Dream on GLEE makes my heart go WEEEEE!" Click through to watch.

Glee music
With episodes devoted to Madonna, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears under its belt so far, Fox's sing-along hit 'Glee' took a chance last night with a musical tribute to that '70s cult classic, 'Rocky Horror Picture Show.'

When word of a Frank-N-Further-themed episode slipped, it created a frenzy among fans of the show and the film alike -- since both focused on outcasts, after all, they seemed like a natural fit.

Does the computerized music in Glee bug you?

by Jane Boursaw, posted Sep 17th 2009 6:00PM
Amber Riley in GleeIn my review of last night's Glee, I praised Amber Riley's voice, noting that it sounded like a combo of Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna when her character Mercedes sang about busting the windows out of Kurt's car. Commenter "czaravm" noted that after about 30 seconds, the computerized music kicked in, giving it a canned sound. I was pretty mesmerized by Riley's voice and the way she was workin' that body, so I didn't really notice it.

Does this sort of canned music bother you? Is it enough to make you stop watching Glee? Based on the comments on my review post, it sounds like some of you are disappointed with how the show is going.
