'Sex and the City' Might Head Back to TV, 'Radiohead' to Play 'SNL' Season Premiere and More TV News

Sex and the CityAfter the second 'Sex and the City' movie turned out kind of horribly (don't argue, you know deep down it's true), all 'SATC'-related attention turned toward the rumored prequel movie, which would star anyone from Blake Lively to Elizabeth Olsen, depending on which article you read.

Now, the latest 'SATC' buzz is saying the show could return to its original medium -- television.

According to Britain's Daily Mail (via Vulture), Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha could return for a seventh season of the hit series.

A source told the paper, "Ultimately Darren Star -- the man who created the hit series -- will have the overall say, but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in."

As with all 'SATC' rumors, we're not holding our breath.

Despite the constant spoilers, the "will they or won't they graduate?!" speculation, the uneven writing, the constant neglect of many main cast members, the nonstop parade of guest stars, and the misuse of Jane Lynch, at its core, 'Glee' is still fun.

Remember the feeling you got after watching the pilot? The misfits had a place, you guys! Music was inspiring! Jane Lynch was hilarious! Well, that feeling comes back (in 3D!) once the a cappella voices begin singing the opening guitar riff of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing.' And when the movie spotlights real-live Gleeks affected by the show -- forget it -- you won't be able to leave without feeling uplifted.

Below, find three reasons why the movie gets us excited for what Season 3 of 'Glee' can be -- especially considering they've stocked the writers room with talented TV veterans who can presumably develop storylines throughout multiple episodes -- and two things that scare us (besides the unnecessary 3D).

'Glee: The 3D Concert Movie' Soundtrack Revealed

'Glee: The 3D Concert Movie' is right around the corner! While you're polishing your 3D glasses -- make sure to get all the slushie off the lenses -- take a peek at the tracklisting for the official movie soundtrack.

Glee Concert
Lots of old favorites -- like 'Don't Rain on My Parade' and 'Don't Stop Believin'' -- made the cut. Plus plenty of Katy Perry and the original song 'Loser Like Me.'

Expect a cameo by Gwyneth Paltrow singing 'Forget You.' Jane Lynch's Sue Sylvester will also appear in the film.

'Glee: The 3D Concert Movie' Trailer: Abs, Fans and Yep, Singing (VIDEO)

GleeWhat can you expect from 'Glee: The 3D Concert Movie'? Backstage antics, the songs you've come to love (or loathe) and lots of ribbons flying in your face!

The new 'Glee' flick hits theaters Aug. 12 for two weeks only. Shot during this summer's live tour, the movie will give fans a glimpse of what goes on backstage as the actors prep to perform to sold out arenas.

'Glee' returns to Fox on Tues., Sept. 20 at 8PM. Season 3 will be the last for many of the main characters. Co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will be among the characters to say goodbye. Perhaps to headline their own spin-off? Time will tell.
