'Gossip Girl' - 'The Lady Vanished' Recap
by Isabelle Carreau, posted Mar 16th 2010 1:05AM

(S03E14) "Whatever she has to say, it's better than not knowing." - Serena about Elizabeth
Chuck's quest to learn more about Elizabeth continued with the help of Blair, Nate and Serena. The latter took Chuck's quest to heart, as it was similar to her trying to find her father and get to know him. Without Serena, we wouldn't have discovered the truth about Elizabeth (more on that after the jump).
The episode also featured Jenny's downfall, Lily making a discovery about Rufus, and Vanessa and Dan making a decision about their relationship. Good thing the Elizabeth storyline was intriguing, because the Vanessa and Dan scenes were just awful and I have only one word to sum up my feelings about them: belch!

'Gossip Girl' - 'The Hurt Locket' Recap

(S03E13) "Time changes everything." - Gossip GirlIt seems like a season ago when we last saw our favorite Upper Eastsiders, no? The last new episode aired on December 7, which was three months ago! That's as long as we have to wait between a season finale and a season premiere!!! Our patience will be rewarded with ten consecutive weeks of fresh episodes!
'The Debarted' may have aired a lifetime ago, and if you missed the recap at the beginning of the episode, you may not remember much of what happened. Well, maybe except that jaw-dropping moment near the end where Chuck finds an unidentified woman at Bart's grave. Is she his mother?
Does Chuck Find His Mom on 'Gossip Girl'? (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 9th 2010 7:25AM
Hmmm ... could Chuck Bass have found his mom? It's sort of looking that way, based on the last scene in this video from 'Gossip Girl' (Mon., 9PM ET on The CW).Then again, this woman looks more like Blair, which would make for a really interesting storyline. But not all that unheard of on 'Gossip Girl.'
Anyway, Chuck's had plenty of nasty moments, but we hope he can figure all this out and re-connect with his mom. We're pullin' for ya, buddy.

March 2010 Premiere Dates And Finales
by Jason Hughes, posted Feb 27th 2010 10:00AM

Now that Olympic fever has subsided, it's time to look ahead to a March filled with many returning favorites, including ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars,' NBC's 'The Apprentice,' and Comedy Central's bad boys of 'South Park.' The month also offers both 'The 82nd Annual Academy Awards' on ABC and NCAA Basketball's "March Madness" on CBS.
March kicks off with one of the most controversial premieres of the year. After a dismal performance in primetime, Jay Leno returns to 'The Tonight Show' (Mon., March 1 at 11:35PM on NBC) desk he temporarily vacated for Conan O'Brien. Make sure you don't miss a moment of the biggest premieres and finales in March.

Are Chuck and Blair Over? And Lily and Rufus, Too? Matthew Settle Reveals 'Gossip Girl' Secrets
by Lauren Metz, posted Feb 22nd 2010 2:00PM
When we last saw 'Gossip Girl,' the ghost of Bart Bass was threatening to tear apart Chuck and Blair. But it's his is-she-or-isn't-she dead mother who may finally turn Chuck back into that emotionless deviant we've grown to love. When we caught up with Matthew Settle, who plays dad-without-a-clue Rufus Humphrey (in where else, but New York City's Upper East Side), we desperately needed to learn what's in the romantic cards for our favorite bitchy power couple when the show returns on March 8. Fans of Blair and Chuck, prepare to dab your eyes.
CW Renews 'Gossip Girl,' 'Vampire Diaries' and More
by Scott Harris, posted Feb 16th 2010 2:45PM
The undead will be breathing new life into the CW lineup for another year, as the network announced today that it has renewed 'The Vampire Diaries' for a second season. According to the Hollywood Reporter, 'Vampire Diaries' is just one of several top performers for the youthful network that has been given an early renewal. Joining 'Dairies' for another go-round will be '90210,' 'Gossip Girl,' 'Supernatural' and 'America's Next Top Model,' which has yet to even premiere this season (its 14th cycle debuts on Mar.10).
The renewal of 'Vampire Diaries,' while earlier than usual, comes as no surprise, as the freshman hit has quickly established itself as the network's top performer, averaging 4.6 million viewers. And those strong numbers carried over to 'Supernatural,' which benefited from 'Vampire''s lead-in to post strong gains in the key 18-34 demographic over last year.

by Jane Boursaw, posted Dec 24th 2009 8:00AM
This year offered plenty of hot and steamy TV moments, but some of the best featured hunky, half-naked guys. It was like an instant party for all of us female viewers out here, whether you're into sexy vampires, rough-gem bikers, or scrappy high school football players. But rather than savor these moments all by ourselves, we've put together a round-up to share them with the world. Although they're numbered from one to 10, we think all of these guys are equally sexy. See if you agree with our choices.

Review: Gossip Girl - The Debarted
by Isabelle Carreau, posted Dec 8th 2009 12:40AM
(S03E12) "I know today is the anniversary of his death." - Blair to ChuckAs Ryan said in comments to last week's post, "The Treasure of Serena Madre" would've been a great last episode of 2009 with all of the drama and excitement it contained, as well as the few cliffhangers. However, The CW decided otherwise and aired one more episode before the show goes on hiatus.
Now that I've seen "The Debarted," I agree with Ryan. The network should have ended 2009 with "The Treasure of Serena Madre" and air this week's installment in January as the sole new episode before the Olympics since it also ended with a few cliffhangers. Don't you agree?
