Besides the hype and media attention and marketing mistakes made by CBS, Adams thinks that it's Couric's voice is turning off viewers. That regular network news viewers want the stronger, deeper voice of a male anchor like Charles Gibson or Brian Williams.

The rumors are that another cast-member is going to be leaving the show after tonight, and if it's who I'm hearing, this is going to be one doozey of an episode. Someone asked last week if there was going to be anyone left standing after this season of 24. To be honest, I have no idea. It's certainly looking like that isn't it? Let's see who's been on for more than one season and is still alive-- Wayne Palmer, the recently assassinated president's brother, who is currently running for his life through sewers from mysterious men. Aaron Pierce, the stalwart secret service agent, who's already had a couple of close calls and was last seen canoodling with the First Lady.
