'Late Show' Makes Guinness Record with Blow-Up DollsAfter the celebs had come and gone, 'Late Night' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) focused its energy on getting into the 'Guinness Book of World Records.' Inclusive host that he is, Jimmy Fallon's last feat involved the whole studio audience.

"We're going to set the world record for most blow-up dolls crowd surfing at once," he said.

To that end, 25 dolls dressed in 'Late Night' T-shirts were launched from the back of the studio. They quickly surfed their way to the front. Easy.

Guy breaks world record for TV watching

by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 5th 2010 2:04PM
Ultimate Couch PotatoAnother year, another TV watching marathon.

Jeff Miller, a businessman from Illinois, won his third (yup, third) Ultimate Couch Potato title at ESPN Zone. Miller watched TV for three straight days, beating three other TV fans who couldn't stay up for that long. Not only if this the third straight time that Miller has won the title, he broke the Guinness World Record for watching television. He also won $1000 for a new TV, a recliner, a year of cable, $1000 to spend at ESPN Zone, and a trophy shaped like a potato. He also gets to sleep for a few hours if he wants to.

Miller was only allowed to go to the bathroom every eight hours. I'm not sure if I could do that, especially if I'm drinking and/or eating during the three days. I think that would be harder than the staying up part. I wonder if they let you wear an adult diaper?

"We can dance if we want to. We can leave your friends behind. 'Cause if your friends don't dance and if they don't dance then they're no friends of mine." --Men Without Hats

Yep, "Safety Dance" blared through several speakers in the courtyard of the Nokia Theatre yesterday. I was there for So You Think You Can Dance's record-setting event. I also got to talk to some ex-cast members of the show. Read about the event and see what Lauren, Hok, Dominic, and Lacey had to say about their experience on SYTYCD (and their lives since then) after the jump.

Reege and Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel not only got two paychecks for his twin hosting duties last week, he also set an official world record.

Kimmel filled in for Regis Philbin on Live with Regis & Kelly every day, and when he was done he jumped on a plane (private from ABC, but still) and hosted his late night talk show in Los Angeles. The Guinness Book of World Records has officially named him a world record holder, saying that the 22406 miles he commuted during the week are a record for the Furthest Distance Commuted In One Working Week.
