'Project Runway' - Ivy Faints and Has to Go to the Hospital (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Aug 13th 2010 3:05AM
Having a passion for fashion is a good thing. But if you go too far with it, then you can get in trouble. That's the lesson on the new 'Project Runway' (Thu., 9PM ET on Lifetime).[Spoiler alert.]
The latest episode involves the players having to make an outfit out of supplies from a party store. And contestant Ivy Higa has a little trouble completing the challenge. She ends up panicking and trying to fix her clothing at the last minute. Then, she mentions feeling "shaky" and "lightheaded." Uh-oh. Not good. Also, we think this is what is known as "foreshadowing."
Sure enough, Ivy ends up fainting from exhaustion. A medical team arrives and has to wheel her out in a stretcher, then put her in an ambulance. Poor kid. Hopefully, Ivy will be okay.
Heidi Klum Wanted To Poop Her Pants Because of 'Project Runway' Finale (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Jul 28th 2010 1:43PM
Note: just because the word "video" is in the title doesn't mean we're going to show you footage of Heidi Klum doing what the title says. Thank God. Though the photo on the right does sort of look like...Klum was on 'Live with Regis & Kelly' (weekday mornings, check local listings) talking about the new season of 'Project Runway,' which starts tomorrow night on Lifetime. She was also talking about a version of the reality show that airs overseas, which actually has a finale that is two hours long and filmed in a stadium with 15,000 people. That's what made Klum want to, um, you know.
Winner Announced on 'Project Runway' Season 7 (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 23rd 2010 7:27AM
Three very talented fashion designers -- Emilio Sosa, Mila Hermanovski and Seth Aaron Henderson -- each showed their collections at New York Fashion Week. But on the season 7 finale of 'Project Runway' (Thu., 10PM ET on Lifetime), there could be only one winner. Who took home the top spot?Watch the video after the jump.
'Project Runway' - 'Finale, Part II' Recap
by Michael Pascua, posted Apr 23rd 2010 12:30AM
(S07E14) It's the final episode of 'Project Runway' Season 7 and I'm more excited this season than last season. The collections of Irina, Carol Hannah, and Althea pale in comparison to this season, which actually had some original colors, shapes, and concepts. This season was apparently more important because they sacrificed an episode of 'Models of the Runway' for a reunion episode that didn't say much.
Heidi Klum Gives Jay Leno a Makeover on 'Tonight Show' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 21st 2010 4:16AM
Ah, Jay, with beauty and fashion comes sacrifice. Last night Heidi Klum used her visit to the 'Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) as an opportunity to give host Jay Leno a new look. Watch the video after the jump.
The Last Elimination on 'Project Runway' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 16th 2010 4:10AM
It was the final elimination on last night's 'Project Runway' (Thu., 10PM ET on LIFE). While Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson last week earned the chance to show their designs at New York Fashion Week, Mila Hermanovski and Jay Sario still had to compete for the third spot at Bryant Park.Watch the video after the jump.
'Project Runway' - 'Finale Part 1' Recap
by Michael Pascua, posted Apr 16th 2010 12:28AM

(S07E13) It's crunch time for 'Project Runway' as the contestants make their ten piece final collection at home. While Seth Aaron and Emilio are sailing pretty, Jay and Mila had to face-off. Tim's visits are probably the best episode for Tim fanatics. He gets to interact with the contestants, but also becomes human watching him eat meals and ride bikes. I need to have a looped gif of Tim on the trampoline from this episode.
On the whole, I'm impressed by the unfinished collections of all the contestants; they all look like they were closer to finished product than previous seasons. The contestants have very distinct points of view so it will be very interesting to see how the finale pans out.
A Surprise Ending for Two Contestants on 'Project Runway' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 9th 2010 5:20AM
Each season, three finalists of 'Project Runway' (Thu., 10PM ET on LIFE) show their collections at New York's Fashion Week. With four designers left standing before the judges' panel last night, host Heidi Klum announced who wouldn't be going to Bryant Park -- sort of.Emilio Sosa's dress was the unanimous favorite, so he's headed to Fashion Week, no question. But between Mila Hermanovski, Jay Sario and Seth Aaron Henderson, Klum revealed the two contestants who "are going to design collections, but only one of you will show at Fashion Week. It is going to be up to you to take this opportunity and run with it." Pun intended there, Heidi? So, who's still fighting for the fashion design opportunity of a, er, lifetime?

'Project Runway' - 'The Big, Top Designers' Recap
by Michael Pascua, posted Apr 9th 2010 1:26AM

(S07E12) The contestants have finally reached the final challenge on 'Project Runway' before the final collection. The final dress has to be a high end dress inspired by performances from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey. They had two days and $300 to create the best dress they could.
One effect that was used really well this episode was the montage of outfits the contestants used during judging. It made you realize that you went through twelve episodes already. Granted, they skipped several of the dud outfits, but it does show that people like Seth Aaron and Mila have a strong point of view.
'Project Runway' - 'Sew Much Pressure' Recap
by Michael Pascua, posted Apr 2nd 2010 3:03AM

(S07E11) In a 'Project Runway' first, not only do we have one quitter, we have two. In the first fifteen minutes, Maya realized that she's still too young to be ready to show for the finale. I found it weird because the show likes putting a mix of designers together, including people right out of school like Daniel Vosovic or Jillian Lewis. While Maya may have been using other designs as influence during the show, she would have had several months to find inspiration before the finale show. With that being said, I respect her decision and wish her the best.
The second quitter comes from one of the models. Valeria gets a high end gig. As a model, that is probably the best decision. She had moderate exposure on a television show, and managed to get a gig from a high end clientele. Take the money and run.
'Project Runway' Sneak Peek: Six Become Five (VIDEO)
by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 30th 2010 12:00PM
When Tim Gunn enters a room on 'Project Runway' (Thu., 10PM ET on LIFE), everybody takes notice and it's usually with laughs and smiles. However, when Tim Gunn enters a room and asks to have a word with you outside, it's not all puppies and flowers. In this clip, Gunn takes Seth Aaron out of the work room and returns alone. What happened? Your guess is as good as ours, but Gunn announces, "There are five of you. We were fully expecting for there to be six." Lifetime has teased that a designer is forced to leave -- and another returns. What a hot mess!

Anthony Is Still Smiling After 'Project Runway' Elimination (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Mar 26th 2010 8:00AM
Even though Jonathan had a "complete and utter misfire" with his "quite sad" creation, it was Anthony whom Heidi Klum and the judges sent home last night on 'Project Runway' (Thu., 10PM ET on LIFE).But he's not bitter: "I think that life has taught us that you don't have to have the crown to be the queen.... Never in a million years did I think I would be in this place."

'Project Runway' - 'Hey, That's My Fabric' Recap
by Michael Pascua, posted Mar 26th 2010 3:34AM

(S07E10) Designer Vivienne Tam visited 'Project Runway' this week. The challenge revolved around creating an original textile using HP computers. Along with the original print, the contestants had $100 to buy supplemental fabric at Mood and two days to complete the look. Maya has the most trouble because she isn't very comfortable using patterns in general.
The concept for the challenge was great. I understand that the time spent on the HP's was just shameless advertising for their sponsor, but it was important for the challenge. It looks like so much fun to run a paintbrush against a monitor and have very accurate responses.
'America's Next Top Model' - 'Let's Dance' Recap
by Michael Pascua, posted Mar 25th 2010 5:18AM

(S14E03) I find it amusing when two shows start bleeding into each other. This week 'America's Next Top Model' borrowed 'Project Runway's' sponsor Bluefly.com. Granted, this isn't the first time crossover has happened between the two shows. Previous contestants like Dani (Cycle 6), Bianca (Cycle 9), and Anya (Cycle 10) have modeled for contestants on their final runway shows. Because of that, I got several commercials for Bluefly.com with Anthony announcing "Period" each time.
Ren continued to self-eliminate herself throughout the episode, and yet didn't have the guts to actually quit. Tyra must be annoyed that the person that she hand picked didn't succeed.
Emilio and Seth Aaron Win the Challenge on 'Project Runway' (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 19th 2010 3:46AM
History was made last night on 'Project Runway' (Thu., 10PM ET on Lifetime), when Heidi Klum announced that two winners had won the challenge. Emilio and Seth Aaron not only worked well together, but they offered something unique to their Harlem-themed designs.
Unfortunately, Amy was sent packing, but we have a feeling her bizarre hairy breast outfit from last week signaled the beginning of her downfall.
