The Tudors: Episode 8 (season finale) - open thread

I would love to put a title to this finale of the third season of The Tudors, but I can't find it. The IMDb is no help, and even the Showtime site for the show isn't very helpful (no episode titles, at least not any I can accurately decipher - maybe they're just numbered?). So if you know the title of this episode let us know!
The show will be back again for a fourth (and final) season. What did you think of the finale?
Eureka: Phased and Confused

(S03E06) "Who was that masked man?" -- Lexxie Carter
"Trouble." -- Jack Carter
After a week off of the schedule Eureka has returned to complete the second half of its summer season. So far, the third season of Eureka has been interesting. Both the "death" of Nathan Stark and the introduction of Eva Thorne and her mysterious mission have turned this show slightly on its heel. What they can do in the next three episodes to move the underlying stories ahead is unknown right now. So we'll just have to watch and wait, wont we?
The Eureka panel - Comic-Con Report

The word of the day at the Eureka panel on Saturday was 'awesome'. For some apparent reason everyone on the panel ended their sentences with the word 'awesome'. That, and a mention about doing their scenes in towels. That was actually an on-going joke coming from a revelation that the stars and writers presented to the audience as something that will be coming up during season three.
Of course there's more than just certain people walking around in towels coming up n the new season, and the panel let the audience in on what they would see when the show premieres this Tuesday. You can find out as well after the jump.
Lifetime orders more episodes of Blood Ties
Lifetime - is it still "television for women?" - has ordered nine more episodes of the Canadian-made horror-romance series Blood Ties. The network will air the last nine episodes of this current order in October (though new episodes continue to air now, Sundays at 10). The big hiatus is so the network can premiere new shows. How is this show? I watch Entourage at that time, and I always forget to set the TiVo for this. Is it worth it? The premise sounds a bit like Forever Knight, though I know this isn't about a vampire cop but a private eye that gets involved with vampires. Looks more romantic/dramatic than the Geraint Wyn Davies show. Is there action too, and maybe some scares?

Ugly Betty: Brothers
(S01E15) This show wows me on so many levels - the humor, the subversion, the eye candy, the emotional pay-offs, but damn, the writing - on a structural level - is so freaking good. This may have been the best episode of Ugly Betty yet. They took what is a soap opera mainstay and typically written off as a joke - a man becoming a woman - and turned it into something real. Honestly, it was just plain artful how the writers thematically connected Justin's story of playground bullying and his father's concern about his sexuality to Alexis' story of her own father's disapproval and eventual sex change. In the Suarez home, being accepted for who you are and seeing beauty in the people around you wins the day. In the Meade home, your father would rather see you dead than happy. That wasn't the only structural parallel at work in this episode either - Betty and Daniel were, as always, playing out the same stories in different universes. Betty forced Daniel's hand in confronting Alexis, but Daniel didn't let Betty out of confronting Walter. "It's a lot harder avoiding people than facing them."Boston Legal and Ugly Betty add members to already bulging casts
Give credit to the producers of Boston Legal and Ugly Betty: they don't like to see an actor out of work. Even though both shows have ensemble casts just bursting at the seams they seem to believe there is enough room for one or two more people.
Over at Boston Legal Nia Long (Third Watch) has been signed on to do three episodes that will air later this season (or next, no date has been set). On the show she'll play Vanessa Walker, a meticulous associate from the New York office of Crane, Poole & Schmidt who requests the assistance of our dear Alan Shore. Didn't Jeffrey Coho and Claire Simms come from the New York office? I wonder if there will be any history between Walker, Coho and Simms (hey, that sounds like great law firm name).
Meanwhile, Christopher Gorham (Out of Practice) has now been promoted to recurring character on Ugly Betty. Gorham plays Henry, an accountant for Meade Publications who takes a liking to the lovely Betty Suarez. His next appearance will be in this evening's broadcast. Joel actually mentioned this in a previous post but I thought that I'd remind everyone.
Finally, the entire population of the state of Delaware has been added to the cast of Lost as another group of people living on the tropical island. Of course, being a proud citizen of the First State, I expect at least scale for my performance.
Chris Gorham guests on Ugly Betty starting tonight
Being an entertainment journalist (or writer, or blogger, or crayon scratcher... whatever you want to call it) sometimes yields some unexpected e-mails. After I interviewed actor Christopher Gorham six months ago, I somehow landed on his e-mail distribution list; I guess after his CBS sitcom, Out of Practice, got cancelled, he wanted to make sure people knew where to find him on the TV dial. God bless the Internet; you can be your own PR rep with just an e-mail account and a huge text based list of addresses. I do it all the time.Anyway, he shot out a note to let people know that he will pop up tonight as a guest star on Ugly Betty. It's the first of a series of appearances as Henry, a nerdy accountant who has a little crush on Betty. To be honest, when I saw the teaser for this episode, I didn't even come close to recognizing him. Looking forward to seeing him; I liked him on OOP, and I think he's a pretty good actor, despite what others have said.
