Tonight, there's going to be a live chat during the highly anticipated season two premiere of Heroes. The chat will start around 15 minutes before the show, so be sure to check the front page for the post if you'd like to participate.

If you've been keeping up with our Heroes coverage over the course of the summer or any of Isabelle's Spoilers Anonymous posts, you already know we're in for an exciting season opener.

Tonight we'll determine the fate of D.L. Hawkins, witness the death of a character, and be introduced to a host of new heroes.

Along with the other great giveaways we've got this week, in celebration of the release of Heroes season one to DVD this week, we're giving away a Heroes T-shirt (pictured right) to ten lucky, randomly chosen commenters to this post. By the grace of the fire marshall, I just squeezed into the second half of the Heroes' panel at Comic-Con. I'll have a report up later, but in the meantime, big news, kids. Kevin Smith has signed to write and direct the first episode of Heroes: Origins. It will air in April. Each episode will have a different auteur at its helm, and yes, Smith is the first up. He promises to bring us the story of the two gay heroes. "The Japanese dudes are gay, right?" He was kidding.

Before beginning this post on premiere dates for the upcoming 2007-08 fall television season I want to mention a few shows that you won't be seeing on the list. They are: Arrested Development, Charmed, Joey, Everwood, Gilmore Girls, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Reba, 7th Heaven, Kidnapped, Vanished, and Standoff. Why, pray tell, am I not including these programs on the list? Because they've all been CANCELED!!! Face it, Everwood is not coming back in any way, shape or form. Let's get past that and move on!

What you will be seeing are the premiere dates for Heroes, Reaper, Bionic Woman, America's Next Top Model, Bones, and Survivor. At posting time the dates for ABC's season premieres had not been given out; therefore, they will not appear on the list. Of course, we could just make up the premiere dates for Samantha Who?, Pushing Daisies and According to Jim, but that wouldn't be very professional of us, would it? That's okay, because ABC's season doesn't really start until Lost begins airing anyway.
