Weddings are notorious for crazy stories. After all, on a day that's usually so meticulously planned to the finest detail, it's inevitable that things will go awry. But perhaps not so crazy as what Hilary Duff talked about on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!).

She lost a tooth on her wedding day. And not from infection or some violent physical calamity, but from something that would seem completely harmless.

Though Hilary Duff's career certainly isn't stagnant (she's filming 'The Story of Bonnie and Clyde' with Kevin Zegers and Thora Birch), the young actress had an itch to do something new -- and so she wrote 'Elixir,' a young adult supernatural romance about a female photojournalist who meets a strange and beautiful man while tracking down her missing father.

Duff was on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) to talk about the book, the differences between acting and being a writer, and to preview the video (yes, a video) for the book.

Hilary Duff is going to college!

According to Ausiello Files, the former 'Lizzie McGuire' star will guest on NBC's 'Community.' Duff is set to play the leader of a clique that takes on Jeff and co.

Besides her Disney series, Duff appeared in a handful of 'Gossip Girl' episodes last season, did a guest spot on 'Law & Order: SVU' and popped up in 'George Lopez' and 'Joan of Arcadia.'

Look for Duff to appear on 'Community' in November.

• Heather Locklear has signed on to star in the Lifetime TV movie 'He Loves Me.' The 'Melrose Place' star will play a real estate agent whose mysterious past starts to come to light as her marriage crumbles, causing her to become violent and paranoid. [Variety]

• Summer Glau will guest star on 'Chuck.' The 'Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles' star is the latest actor to play Greta, the undercover Buy More agent. Other actors who have been tapped to play the role include Olivia Munn and Isaiah Mustafa. [Ausiello Files]

When it comes to producing true OMG, WTF TV moments, few do it better than the scandalous stars of the CW's 'Gossip Girl,' which begins its eagerly anticipated fourth season on Monday, Sept. 13 at 9PM ET.

But before we say bonjour to our Paris-based premiere episode, there's no better time to reminisce about some of our favorite twists and turns from last year.

Remember that ill-advised threesome? Little J's homewrecking ways? That shocking mid-season car crash? How about the cliffhanger to all end cliffhangers that saw Chuck Bass bleeding out in an alleyway (don't those muggers know who he is?) -- we sure do; join us after the jump to see which gaspworthy moments made our Top 10, as chosen by the 'Gossip Girl' producers.

After a number of successful guest spots on shows like 'Ghost Whisperer,' 'Law & Order: SVU' and 'Gossip Girl,' Hilary Duff is headed back to the small screen -- this time, in the ABC Family movie 'Beauty and the Briefcase.'

In it, Duff plays Lane, an aspiring journalist who goes undercover for Cosmo magazine to see if she can find true love in the male-dominated world of business. Along the way she meets a number of potential suitors, including the hunky Liam ('The OC''s Chris Carmack) and her co-worker, Seth, played by 'Kyle XY''s Matt Dallas.

In preparation for the movie (premiering Sunday at 8PM), AOL TV spoke to Duff about her role, getting engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie and whether the upcoming 'Bonnie and Clyde' movie is still happening.

Kelly Ripa, what is your mind doing in the gutter? Actress Hilary Duff was chatting about her engagement on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) and Ripa's mind began to wander.

"It was like a sweatpants, no make-up -- kind of not looking my best moment. We were just on our balcony, watching the sun go down ... and next thing, I turn around and he was on his knee and I thought he was kidding ... then he pulls it out of his pocket and --" Duff said before Ripa interjected with, "The ring?"

"You're trying to get me in trouble?" Duff asked Ripa in a fit of laughter. "I apologize for all of us," Regis Philbin said. Thanks, Reeg.

(S03E10) "Vanessa, you are in love with Dan." - Olivia

Last week's threesome scenes left a few viewers wanting more. This week, viewers were not only treated to more footage from the threesome scenes, but to a lot of drama caused by said Olivia-Dan-Vanessa threesome experiment. As expected, the threesome made Dan and Vanessa's feelings for one another resurface, even if they didn't clearly admit it or deny it.

The episode also featured a guest performance by singer Lady Gaga (pictured above in a behind the scenes photo with Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester).

(S03E09) "Nobody puts Jenny in a corner." - Gossip Girl

Even if this was Jenny's episode, the much talked about threesome scenes stole the show.

The Parents Television Council (PTC) tried to get the network not to air this week's episode of Gossip Girl due to the threesome scene it included. In a letter sent out to the network, the PTC claims The CW's decision to air the episode is "reckless and irresponsible." In the same letter, they mention that by airing this scene, the network is, in a way, letting young kids know that they should take part in such sexual behaviors.

(S03E08) "Blair and Serena at war again? Yummy!" - Gossip Girl

I disagree with Gossip Girl on this. Blair and Serena at war again? Same old. Same old. Once again, Blair and Serena are at odds while wanting to be friends. Can we move on?

I'm tired of Blair and Serena breaking up, making up, fighting, backstabbing one another, not understanding one another, etc. I hope the writers planned for the duo to not cross paths for a few episodes so we can get some quiet time before they fight some more and then make up.

(S03E07) "Time to get to work ruling the Kingdom." - Jenny

It was only a matter of time before Jenny started acting like a real Queen Bee. Mind you, even after this week's events, Jenny is still nowhere near as evil as Blair was, but she is definitely not Little J anymore.

While Jenny ruled her kingdom, Chuck tried to do the same with the launch of his new club. He wanted to launch his club honestly and by himself. As expected, things didn't go as planned, but that doesn't mean he isn't happy with the end product, eh?

(S03E06) "What are friends for?" - Vanessa to Dan

Thanks to Gossip Girl, Firefly's Gina Torres is back on TV! It was about time that this fantastic actress returned to the small screen. Torres plays Vanessa's mother, Gabriela, and is set to appear in a few episodes. This new character finally allowed the viewers to know more about Vanessa, who's been a background character/sidekick for the past seasons.

As it was posted here before, I wasn't able to watch the episode live but allowed you to post your comments in a temp post. Here we go with my review, which includes some of the comments you left.

(S03E05) "Ah the Wedding March.... here comes the awkward pause." - Gossip Girl

As you can see from the picture above, Sonic Youth appeared on this very special episode of Gossip Girl, spoiled by the official episode title, and performed their 1986 single "Star Power."

As expected, Rufus and Lily hit a few bumps in the road before making the episode title come true. The episode also featured the return of Georgina, Scott, and Bree, which equals to blackmail, lies and drama. Three words that work very well in the world of Gossip Girl.

(S03E04) "How can I rule over people I don't understand?" - Blair

The main storyline this week on Gossip Girl may have been the introduction of Hilary Duff's character Olivia "Kate" Burke, a movie star who comes to NYU in the hopes to get a normal college experience, but I much preferred Blair's storyline.

Blair is still at the bottom of the food chain at NYU and doesn't know how to get Queen B status amongst people she doesn't know. Thanks to Blair spiraling down to Constance to bring order back, and to a very clever plan mastered by Chuck to bring his girlfriend back to reality, we were treated to interesting scenes, including one that had Dorotea speaking her mind to Blair!

E! will not air its exclusive interview with 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' star Jon Gosselin, according to a network spokesperson. The interview has reportedly been canceled for reasons yet to be determined.

Also in the news today: ABC moves 'V''s premiere date, while Hilary Duff books a new ABC Family movie.
