Howard Stern warned Conan to be wary of Jay Leno
by Danny Gallagher, posted Jan 25th 2010 7:00PM
You might have wondered why Howard Stern really declined to be Conan O'Brien's last few shows on The Tonight Show. Here's a possibility: Howard hates being proved right. Sure, it's a long shot. TVTattle dug up an old Late Night interview from 2006 with the longtime radio host warning Conan, "I don't see this guy (Leno) leaving and letting you walk in and I'm concerned about you."
Nice call, Howard. Would you also be willing to take over my stock portfolio and attend my upcoming IRS audit with me?
Howard Stern plans Super Bowl halftime show
by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 26th 2007 12:02PM
For those of you who don't want to watch Prince perform during the halftime show at next month's Super Bowl game between the Bears and the Colts, you can always watch a football game played between drag queens and Howard Stern staffers.
That's what Stern has planned on the day on the Howard TV On Demand Channel. During halftime, viewers (for $13.99) can watch Stupid Bowl III: The Boys vs. The Girls. People who work on Stern's Sirius show will play a 28 minute flag football game against a bunch of drag queens. And as an added bonus, Penthouse Pets will be the cheerleaders. Not sure what they'll be wearing, if anything.
So this is Stupid Bowl III? What were the first two?

Queen Bed, Internet connection, mini-bar, room service, and... Howard Stern?
by Joel Keller, posted Apr 10th 2006 6:23PM
You're stuck in Indianapolis on a business
trip and facing the prospect of staring at a hotel TV that has the four networks and the History Channel. Not looking
promising, is it? Well, fear not road warriors, because if the hotel you're in has On Command, you'll soon be able to
drift off to sleep to Beetlejuice, Jeff the Drunk, or -- best of all -- Carmen Electra riding the Sybian.Yes, that's right, folks, Howard TV is coming to a hotel room near you! On Command, who runs the in-room pay-per-view services for most hotel chains, and iN DEMAND, who provides on-demand programming for cable companies, have signed an agreement to offer content from Howard Stern's channel in rooms across the country. So, if you're in the right frame of mind, you'll be able to find entertainment for the night that will be funny and maybe a bit... uh... bawdy, but won't be embarrasing to see on the bill you get the next morning.
Oh, and if the last sentence of my first paragraph read "blahblahblahblahblah Carmen Electra blahblahblahblah" to you, well... there's always Modern Marvels...
