'House' Season 7 Preview: House and Cuddy, Sittin' in a Tree ...
by Kim Potts, posted Sep 13th 2010 1:00PM
Actually, the crab-tacular doctor and his boss are doing more than sittin' in a tree. A lot more than sittin' in a tree ...Yes, Huddy fans, the relationship you've been hoping for, the one that House (Hugh Laurie) once hallucinated had already happened, will unfold in the show's new season.
In fact, when the seventh season of 'House' premieres on Sept. 20 (8PM ET, Fox), Dr. House and Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) will be in a full-blown relationship, kissing, snuggling, hot bedroom scenes and all.
Emmy Picks: Best Lead Actor in a Drama
by Joel Keller, posted Aug 23rd 2010 1:02PM

With the Emmy awards less than a week away, I'm continuing to pick who I think should and who I think will win the major awards.
On Friday, I discussed the Best Lead Actress in a Drama category. Today we look at their male counterparts in the Best Lead Actor in a Drama category.
Nominees:
Kyle Chandler, 'Friday Night Lights'
Bryan Cranston, 'Breaking Bad'
Matthew Fox, 'Lost'
Michael C. Hall, 'Dexter'
Jon Hamm, 'Mad Men'
Hugh Laurie, 'House'
Who will win: Wow. You could make a case for everyone in this category, given the strong episodes they each submitted. That being said, Bryan Cranston didn't give the Academy any reason to avoid giving him the award for the third year in a row. 'Breaking Bad' had an exceptionally strong season, and it says a lot that I don't even think Cranston was the best actor on his show this year -- Aaron Paul did that good of a job, but he's nominated in the supporting category -- but I still think he will take the prize.
Hugh Laurie Signs Deal to Record Blues Album
by Mike Moody, posted Jul 26th 2010 2:30PM
Gregory House has something to sing about. Hugh Laurie is joining the ranks of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as the next TV star to dive into music with an upcoming album, but don't expect to hear the 'House' star covering 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' or 'Mr. Tambourine Man.'
Laurie has inked a deal with Warner Music Entertainment to record an LP of original Big Easy-inspired blues tracks, reports USA Today.
"I know the history of actors making music is a checkered one, but I promise no one will get hurt," said Laurie, who often plays the guitar and piano on his hit show.
'House' Buzz: Will the Doctor Be Out After Season 7?
by Laura Prudom, posted Jun 1st 2010 3:00PM
Dr. Gregory House often has a disturbing penchant for almost killing his patients while he attempts to cure them (he clearly needs to brush up on his Hippocratic oath) but will the show itself be the next patient to flatline on one of Princeton Plainsboro's well-used hospital beds?According to the Ausiello Files, Hugh Laurie's 'House' contract expires at the end of next season, and as of right now, the distinguished British thesp has "no idea" how much longer the show will run.
"I only hope we'll know when the time is right [to finish]," he told Ausiello. "When people blunder on for five years after [they should have called it quits]... it gets taken out of your hands. Someone will say, 'That's it.'"

Sometimes, an item has special sentimental value. And sometimes, an item has even more value than that. On 'House' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox), Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) loses a valuable book, then goes to great lengths to get it back.[Spoiler alert.]
Karaoke on 'House' (VIDEO)

The medical drama 'House' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox) can be a fairly tense show. So occasionally, it's just nice to sit back, relax, and listen to the characters sing really badly. Which is pretty much what happens on the latest episode.
Yes, there's a plot. But there's also bad singing, which is even more important.
'House' - 'The Choice' Recap

(S06E19) "Like so many things, you were born that way." - House to Ted, the patient, about his completely treatable condition
There's only two more episodes to go for this season of 'House,' and it seems that his pain is acting up and Gregory House has sublimated his need for meds with liquor. Waking up on rocket ship sheets was a dead give away that something was definitely off with the doctor. More on that and how lactating nipples don't make good coffee creamer.

(S06E18) "When you think about it, tons of couples do what we do. It's just that with most of them, one spouse doesn't know. We decided things work better when people tell each other the truth." - Julia, the patient, on her open marriage to Tom
Last night's episode had a theme that didn't involve lessons like eating nothing but rabbit meat is lethal or that hemlock can cause tachycardia and uncontrollable salivation.
It was all about relationships and trust. Some were obvious like the never-ending drama between Taub and his exasperated wife and some not so much like the unspoken one between Wilson and House and the woman who has come between them.
And just so you know, this episode doesn't end with unnecessary double-male spooning, so feel free to read on ahead while you enjoy that tasty Jimmy Dean pancake sausage on a stick.
Wilson and Sam Fight on 'House' (VIDEO)

Dealing with your ex-wife can be hard. This is certainly the case on 'House' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox). Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) is attempting to reconcile with his ex-wife Samantha (Cynthia Watros). Unfortunately, the two of them are still fighting about the same things that made them divorce in the first place. In the course of their fighting, some harsh words get tossed around.Watch the video after the jump.

(S06E17) "If you force him to choose, you might not like the answer." - Cuddy's advice to House on how to handle Wilson reconnecting with his first wife
One of the hardest things for a long running show to do is keeping the audience guessing. That's not normally a problem for 'House,' a show that throws around more 15-letter medical words and scientific terms than a 'NOVA' marathon.

Girlfriend Trouble on 'House' (VIDEO)

People are fighting on 'House' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox). Well, of course they are. Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) is involved, which pretty much inevitably leads to either crankiness or a fight. But in this case, House is starting an argument in order to protect his best friend.Watch the video after the jump.
'House' - 'Lockdown' Recap

(S06E16) "I'm going to be dead in a few hours. Your secrets couldn't be safer, unless you're keeping them from yourself." - Nash to House
'House' entered into one of television's most overused cliches last night: the "randomly stuck together somewhere plot line." It's happened so many times that attempting to count all of them would require a NASA scientist, a team of fact checkers and one of those slick-looking slide rules that only a handful of people left in the universe know how to use.
This time, the team gets separated into different parts of the hospital during a lock down. Each has their own interesting stories to tell as they whittle away the hours, and each have varying degrees of success.
'House' - 'Black Hole' Recap

(S06E15) I couldn't find a really good quote to transcribe or even characterize this week's episode, because the whole turn of events are a jumbled lump of clay in my head.
Normally, a show that goes by so fast that I need a drag chute just to figure out what's going on would turn me away from it, but the dramatic tension that 'House' creates kept me velcroed in front of it all the way to the end.
Sure my head still hurts from trying to understand the science of it all, but the dramatic and even comedic angles makes for some fine-tasting Advil.
Dr. House Caught Sexting Taub's Wife on 'House' (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 15th 2010 11:59PM
Interfering in a colleague's life? Check. Sending dirty text messages to colleague's wife? Check. Telling colleague to trust him? Check. That's pretty much how it went down tonight on 'House' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox), when House confiscated Taub's phone and sexted his wife with it. If it has to do with being seedy and underhanded, you can bet Dr. House is onboard.
"Trust me, this is gonna help," House tells a frustrated Taub, who's trying to grab the phone away from him. We're pretty sure Taub knows just as well as we do that trusting House is the last thing he should do. Especially since House has had soooo much success in his own personal life.
