In her new book, 'Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes,' Linda alleges that Hulk had a gay affair with wrestler Brutus Beefcake.

As the show popped up a photo of Brutus, Wendy couldn't hold back her laughter any longer. She reported that Brutus told TMZ he was considering suing Linda too, and Wendy offered a perfect karmic solution. "Well, if you're friends with Hulk you can sue Linda and get some of Hulk's money back for him!"

Wrestling: The Monday Night War Is Back

by David Hofstede, posted Jan 5th 2010 11:30AM
Hulk HoganWrestling fans still have a nostalgic enthusiasm for the 1990s, when every Monday night brought five hours of choke slams and sleeper holds courtesy of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Back when WWE's 'Monday Night Raw' aired opposite WCW's 'Nitro,' both companies created new superstars, crafted envelope-pushing stories and even unleashed a few dirty tricks, like WCW revealing match results from WWE's pre-taped episodes, all in a battle for ratings supremacy.

The war ended when WWE purchased WCW in 2001. 'Raw' has aired unopposed ever since -- until tonight.

Hulk Hogan shakes up TV wrestling with move to TNA

by John Scott Lewinski, posted Oct 30th 2009 2:30PM
Hulk Hogan is going from Rock N' Wrestling to TNA.I try to cover professional wrestling here on TV Squad only when something happens that hints at a ratings spike, a celebrity tie-in or a television publicity war. Today, we have news that could score a pin on all three fronts, "Brother!"

Hulk Hogan (in yellow, right), the 80s legend that put WWF WWE on the mat map, announced this week that he's returning to the squared circle and joining the ranks of Spike TV's TNA Wrestling. It's a big step up in exposure for the Florida-based promotion as it struggles to pull away a little market share away from Vince McMahon's Connecticut Death Grip.

While the WWE has either live or taped shows on various cable outlets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights (with occasional weekend specials on NBC), TNA has used the last couple of years to build an ever-growing following in Spike's Thursday night schedule.

Hulk Smash! Hulk Hogan Returning to Wrestling

by Michael D. Ayers, posted Oct 28th 2009 3:50PM
Hulk HoganHeads up, wrestling fans: Hulkamania is back.

The iconic Hulk Hogan has signed a deal with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the second largest wrestling organization behind the WWE. Hogan's deal will bring him back to where he began, on a full-time basis.

Aside from a few sporadic appearances this decade, Hogan has been largely out of the wrestling spotlight. But that's not to say he's faded out of the pop-culture limelight. You might remember a little VH1 show called 'Hogan Knows Best,' which followed the trials and tribulations of Hogan juggling his marriage and raising two teenage children -- Nick and Brooke, with the latter starring in the spin-off 'Brooke Knows Best.'

Note to The Next Mrs. Bonaduce: Don't do it!

by Jane Boursaw, posted Nov 6th 2008 1:14PM
Danny Bonaduce in The Jerk TheoryYou'd think that celebrity couples would start getting the picture after a while. Don't do a reality show! It's just the death knell of any marriage, and I think you can probably name a few obituaries in that category: Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Hulk and Linda Hogan, and Danny and Gretchen Bonaduce, to name a few.

PopEater is reporting that the Bonaduce's divorce is a done deal, and he has to shell out $16K a month in spousal and child support. Guess how he's going to earn the cash -- a dating reality show called The Next Mrs. Bonaduce!

Now, what girl in her right mind would participate in such a fiasco? I mean, I have to admit that I watched his show, Breaking Bonaduce, a few times, and was weirdly transfixed to his train wreck of a life.

Hulk Hogan to join his son in jail?

by Kristin Sample, posted Jun 15th 2008 8:04PM
Hulk HoganNow, that Nick Hogan is cozied up in a new cell for his prison sentence, his father might be joining him. VH1's Matthew Muro is reporting that Linda Hogan, the Hulkster's estranged wife, wants to send the former pro-wrestler to jail for not paying his portion of a Las Vegas condo, a property worth 4.2 milion dollars. If Linda gets her wishes, Hulk Hogan would be put in Pinellas County Jail in Florida, the very same jail that holds his son.

VH1 offers the following as reasons why Hulk has not paid his bills: "Is he short on cash? Probably not. Is he planning to hit the slammer intentionally to protect little Nick? No way. Or could it be that he's trying to cut off Linda's cash flow so that she can't lavish any more gifts on her 19-year-old boy toy? Bingo!!"

Should Nick Hogan have been moved to a new jail cell?

by Kristin Sample, posted Jun 9th 2008 2:23PM
Nick Bollea HoganThe Hulkster's son, in jail for a driving accident that put his friend in a coma, just got moved last Friday into a new jail cell. He was serving his eight-month prison sentence in solitary confinement after pleading no contest to the three charges: reckless driving, drunk driving, and having tinted windows on his Supra.

In a conversation with his mother, Linda Hogan, Nick (real last name Bollea) described the jail cell as half the size of his bathroom with no windows. According to Nancy Grace, the cell measures 12 X 16. Nick's new digs include a cable television, unlimited phone use, a snack bar, and three other juvenille inmates. According to the Sherrif's office, he was being held in solitary confinement becuase he is seventeen and therefore too young to be with the rest of the criminal population. His lawyers apparently filed a lawsuit against the sheriff's office saying that the decision to keep their client in solitary confinement is a violation of his privacy.

What do you think? Should Nick have stayed in solitary confinement until July 27th, his eighteenth birthday?
