CEO Gets an American Dream Lesson on 'Undercover Boss' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 22nd 2010 4:20AM
Undercover Boss, 7-Eleven, IgorIt takes a guy named Igor to clue the CEO of 7-Eleven in on the American dream. Seriously, he's like a character out of a Paul Haggis film.

"America is the best country in the world," says Igor in broken English. "You guys just do not really know how blessed you are ... I came in the U.S. with no English, no knowledge of any culture, fifty bucks in my pocket ... "

The boss is impressed, and so are we. Igor knows what many people take for granted -- the U.S. is the land of opportunity. 'Undercover Boss' is on Sun., 9PM ET on CBS.

However, the US military, ever the spirit-dampener, has found the extra footage that Zarqawi didn't include in his propaganda tape. Naturally, it's all less than flattering because it shows Zarqawi fumbling with his machine gun (so, in essence, it was a Zarqawi blooper reel). "It makes you wonder," Major General Rick Lynch said of Zarqawi's inability to operate the weapon. Jon added, "... Yeah. Makes you wonder why we haven't caught this putz yet." Zarqawi was also sporting white New Balance shoes in the video. I'm sure NB is really happy with this free product placement.

Hurrah! So, "for every person killed just because of their religion or for being an American, there is another person almost killed but... then at the last minute... not."
