As the title suggests, what we witnessed going on for much of this episode was not reality, but a 'Masquerade.' If you pay attention to titles, you can have an edge figuring out what's what. Meanwhile, beyond the action, there was more character interaction as 'NCIS' continues to weave a few mystery threads, including M. Allison Hart's fascination with Mr. Gibbs.

Jack and Graem Bauer on 24Creators of 24 met late last year with human rights advocates, the dean of West Point's military academy and experienced interrogators to discuss torture and how the torture scenes on 24 affect how people are questioned by authorities in real life, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The panel of torture experts wanted to persuade 24 writers to "show torture subjects taking weeks or months to break, spitting out false or unreliable intelligence, and even dying. As they do in the real world," the article said.

the officeAngela seems none too pleased of having to take part in this investigation to uncover the mystery of the missing $3,000. Oscar is resigned to taking on this task, but he seems to be acting professionally and doing his due diligence. Kevin is, well, Kevin.

This time around, the three speak to Meredith, the Scranton office's resident lush. Angela is extremely accusatory and seems ready to drag Meredith by the hair into a waiting police car, much less human resources. She obviously wants to get this over with so she can go back to her clandestine "romance" with Dwight, among her other activities.
