Isla Fisher Almost Kissed Johnny Depp During the Filming of 'Rango' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 4th 2011 3:52AM
'Rango' is an animated film that has a very distinct and different look from most of the computer-animated movies we've seen. It also had a rather different filmmaking process as well, according to Isla Fisher on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights 11PM ET on E!).Chelsea Handler assumed it was like most animated movies, with the actors isolated in their sound booths reading out their lines, but the production was much more active than that. "We actually shot this a little like a play," Fisher said. "We were on a sound stage and we acted it out. You know, we got to react off of each other."
Handler was determined to imagine Fisher showing up with no hair and make-up in her PJs, but that wasn't the case. "I was working with Johnny Depp, so I did make some effort."
Tom Ford Was 'MacGyver' to Isla Fisher's Wardrobe Malfunction (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Mar 2nd 2011 5:30AM
When we ordinary citizens have wardrobe malfunctions, the best we can hope for is that a friend has a safety pin in her purse. Here's what happens among the celebrity elite:At the 'Vanity Fair' Oscars after-party, Larry David gave Isla Fisher a "firm, hard hug" that snapped her dress strap. "I was exposed," she told Jimmy Fallon on 'Late Night' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC).
"But only at the 'Vanity Fair' party, the crowds parted and there appeared my fashion angel in the name of Tom Ford -- who had on him a cufflink, a wire coat hanger and a candlestick."
"He's like a fashion 'MacGyver'!" exclaimed the host. Evidently so. "He MacGyvered my strap back on, and I had a great night!" Fisher said. And who says the rich and famous are just like us?
