Needless to say, this post contains massive spoilers.

So a guy was sitting in a Honolulu restaurant recently and saw a piece of paper that had the word 'Lost' on it. Turns out it's the studio call sheet for the series finale! What does he do? He sends it to Gawker, of course (see also iPhone, Apple's new). And it looks like it's the real thing because ABC contacted Gawker and they want the call sheet back.

Last night's episode of 'Lost' was excellent, wasn't it? For the first time this season it seems like we can finally see where the show is headed. The pieces are finally coming together.

We don't know yet who is going to live or die (or even if "live" or "die" mean the same thing in this 'Lost' world) or what it ultimately all means, but last night was certainly a true turning point. Of course, the writers could still throw us a curve and we could find out that alternate-reality Desmond is actually a robot from the future obsessed with cheddar cheese, but it looks like the final handful of episodes will give us a real conclusion.

It's one of the greatest shows in TV history, and I'm probably never going to watch it on DVD.

Easter is one of those in-between holidays, at least in my house. Definitely more important than Arbor Day but not nearly as important as Thanksgiving. So several family members didn't come to Easter dinner yesterday, which means I got to talk to a couple of people a lot instead of several people just a little. Since I work for The Most Awesome TV Blog in the Universe (TM), the conversation turned to television, specifically to 'Lost.'

I don't remember exactly how the conversation went (I wish I had a tape recorder running), but it was very close to this:

Sister: Oh, you watch 'Lost?'
Me: Yeah, it's great!

Sister: So what's going on on it?
Me: _______?

Sister: I mean, the last time I saw it they were on an island. That guy who was on 'The Practice' was there.
Me: Michael Emerson. He's a great actor.

Sister: So what has happened since then?

Fans of 'Lost' know that this is the season where a lot of old favorites come back to the show, whether they're dead or not (well, mostly dead).

We've already seen Boone (Ian Somerhalder), Claire (Emilie de Ravin), Helen (Katey Segal), and Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell - we assumed she died in the season finale last year but she popped up again for a teary goodbye with Sawyer). And now another well-loved character is coming back.

Who? Someone close to one of the characters above...

What do you get the 'Lost' fan for Valentine's Day? DHARMA chocolates? A copy of 'The Third Policeman?' Advil to take at 10PM every Tuesday night when the latest episode is over?

How about a 'Lost'-themed card? These are pretty darn clever. The Ben one on the right is my favorite. I love the expression on his face, and you can imagine him saying those words.

The card after the jump is my other favorite, though since it's addressed to Kate it seems like only a handful of 'Lost' fans would be able to use it.

If you're not listening to the weekly 'Lost' podcast, you're missing out on a lot of great stuff. I didn't start listening to it until recently, and I've discovered that not only are the podcasts entertaining, they're giving a lot of clues as to what's happening on the island (and these are official clues, not rumors or theories that you might find on other sites - though producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are more than a little coy in the podcasts).

What jumped out to me in the podcast posted after the season premiere last week has to do with the timeline(s).

(S06E03) "It's the Others, dude. They caught us ... again." - Hurley

As 'What Kate Does' unfolded, I couldn't help but shake the feeling that everything we're witnessing in the "post-Jughead worked" 2004 time-line is going to end up being very important. Of course, that could have been due to the fact that in this past week's Official 'Lost' Audio Podcast, Cuse and Lindelof essentially laid it bare for us -- there is no alternate reality happening here. What's going on in LA in 2004 and what's going on in 2007 on the island are both very real.

The question to ask is what effect actions in one time-line will have on the events in the other. As far as 'Lost' mindf#%ks go, this one is a doozie, because it's forced us to reevaluate everything we remember about these characters, right back to the pilot episode.

The second episode of 'Lost's' final season airs tonight, but they're actually done filming over a dozen episodes this season, so they only have a few more to film before the cast says goodbye to the show forever. One cast member says that his survival at the end of the show is "unlikely." Spoilerish info after the jump.

The other night while watching the season premiere of 'Lost,' I was thinking about people who have never seen the show. What if they watched this episode? Would they have any idea of what's going on? Would they like it? Would their heads explode?

This video below answers the question a bit. Several Newsweek staff members got together to watch scenes from important moments on the show and tried to figure out what it all means. Some of the comments range from goofy ("Why would that guy make the engine blow up?") to the typical line you hear from a non-fan ("It's heaven!").

So you watched last night's season premiere of 'Lost,' hopefully with a bottle of Advil by your side. I think I know what's going on (translation: not really). But Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof were on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' last night and actually answered some questions from Jimmy about the plot (and spoiled some of it for the studio audience - the episode was taped before anyone in the audience had seen the episode).

Lost returns next Tuesday for its final season. And guess what? Someone (hey, maybe even ABC) has leaked the first four minutes of the first episode. YES, IT'S A SPOILER. Though not as spoiler-ish as you might think. Not sure how long this will stay up if ABC didn't leak it.

ABC hasn't released any new information about the last season of Lost (which debuts on February 2), not a trailer that includes new footage. But some clues are beginning to show up here and there.

Kristen over at E! has some lines of dialogue from the first few episodes of the show. She doesn't say who says what so you have to put your thinking cap on (or your guessing cap).

We aren't getting too many promos for the last season of Lost from ABC (and zero new footage), but this promo from Spain is pretty damn cool. It's hard to see if there's any new footage (I don't think there is), but it's very well done.
