24's Morrison walks a tightrope and chills in the Lotus position
The Counter-Terrorism Unit on 24 can be a very stressful place, what, with the responsibility of trying to stop nuclear bombs from detonating falling onto their shoulders and all.
No wonder actor James Morrison -- who plays Jack Bauer's boss, CTU chief Bill Buchanan on 24 -- practices yoga to decompress. "I'm a yogi and that's what I try to bring wherever I go," Morrison, a certified yoga instructor, told the New York Times.
Morrison -- who has worked as a truck driver, landscaper, a circus clown and a tightrope walker -- told the Times that "workers relate to this guy [Buchanan] because he's willing to question his own decisions and allow the people around him to blossom and to be themselves because he trusts them." But if Jack calls Bill a third time saying he needs to break into another embassy, maybe Bill should just say, "No."
24's Morrison dishes about on-screen romance
CTU chief Bill Buchanan chased after Homeland Security's LA Director, Karen Hayes, while Jack Bauer was being tortured in a Chinese prison?
That's what 24 star James Morrison told TV Guide in a recent interview.
Morrison said that his character, Buchanan, romantically pursued the woman who'd usurped his power during Day Five. (Hayes came into CTU last season after a gas attack savaged the Los Angeles office and took over the joint.) And Morrison kind of liked that. "Once Bill decides that flowers grow wherever a woman steps, he has to pursue her," he joked.
She's baaaack!
By popular demand? I don't think so. Jack Bauer's daughter, Kim, returns to 24 tonight. First of all, she's
going to be surprised to find out that her dad is alive. Then how will she react? Will she want her old job back at
CTU? Who knows what storyline awaits Kim this season. She's already been tormented by a cougar and held hostage by a
psycho in an underground bunker. I'm guessing she had a baby since Jack "died". Why not?TV Squad Hot Topics
