Things got super awkward on 'Celebrity Fit Club' (Mon., 9PM ET on VH1) when a boxing match between two guys got sexy. Seriously, those words should never all be in the same sentence together, but Jay McCarroll is really glad they are.

"My favorite part of the whole experience was at the end," said McCarroll. "He punched my ass, and it felt great."

And thus, the new sport of Hot Boxing is born.

I've recently read on VH1's blog that you were going to be on Celebrity Fit Club. I have a problem with this: you are not a celebrity. Sure VH1 may stretch the definition of "Celebrity," but having a resume that includes backup dancer and being on WWE doesn't suffice. I don't care if you were married to Britney Spears; you're not married to your meal ticket anymore.

I've recently Googled pictures of you and boy did you let yourself go. Maybe you should stop drinking beer. You shouldn't be on Celebrity Fit Club, you need to be on The Biggest Loser. Not only does the title fit you better, you need a smack down from Jillian Michaels.

(S05E09) My last review began oh-so bluntly with "I am so full of anger", which was a pretty good summation of the grumpiness that would follow. This episode triggered some very familiar feelings and, while some of you thought I was being a little too hard on the designers, especially Kenley, I can't see how anyone could wonder why after this episode. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a Project Runway fan. If I only half-cared for it, the drop in quality of this show would not affect me quite as badly. But when a show I love so much and have constantly praised and confidently recommended takes such a sharp drop within one year, it's disappointing, to say the least.

As horrible as it sounds, I'm actually looking forward to the Lifetime move now, despite my earlier worries, because at least PR will be on a network that wants them around. The same can not be said for Bravo, which is currently treating PR like it's the ex that still has to live in the apartment because they're legally obligated to finish paying half this year's rent.

Interesting piece in New York mag about what happens to reality show stars after they appear on TV. Top Chef winner Ilan Hall split with his girlfriend. Project Runway finalist Wendy Pepper changed her look and left her husband. And Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll is homeless.

For some reason, McCarroll blames this on fame and the show.

McCarroll had a hard time after winning the competition. He found out that The Weinstein Company owned 10% of whatever he created if he took the $100,000 prize. He didn't take the money, and now he's broke and doesn't really do anything for the network anymore, which hurts his images and brand (the clause is no longer in the show's contract). McCarroll doesn't even have a permanent home: "I haven't been living anywhere for two years...I sleep at other people's houses. I sleep here [a studio] if I'm drunk."

Project Runway is gearing up for a four city casting tour beginning March 30th in Los Angeles and continuing to Chicago, Miami and New York City. And, don't worry, Tim Gunn will be back despite his many extracurricular activities.

In the interest of helping further your design career, I've put together a brief primer for success on Project Runway - from the auditions to the final catwalk.

Apparently, back in the day, Tim Gunn expressed disappointment that season one Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll hadn't debuted a collection by the age of 29. Well, Jay would like you to know that he's "not bitter" about that comment, but it was "hurtful." In the February 4th issue of New York Magazine, McCarroll goes on at length about Tim Gunn, and it's not pretty, Runway fans. (If you're offended by profanity, you may want to close your eyes for this next part.)

"I just hate that because middle America looks at him like, 'He's so nice, he's like a father to them.' On [Project Runway] he was, sure ... At one point he said I was an embarrassment because I didn't show yet. And it's like, f**kin'-A, man ... I don't think [Gunn is] an authority on any designer's life. He went to school for sculpture or something. I don't think he's ever, to my knowledge, started a fashion line and therefore should not be the adviser or the f**kin' creative director." Oops ... too late. Liz Claiborne just made him their creative director. They hadn't gotten the memo from Jay yet, I guess.

You see what I did? I took the "you're out" catchphrase from Project Runway and made it about homosexuality! Applaud me for my cleverness! ... Okay, don't. On to my point: The fashion industry has plenty of gay designers (shock, surprise) so it's not that startling to see more than a few on a reality show about fashion design. This season, there were a few brief discussions about sexual orientation, including some stories that let us better understand and appreciate the designers (like Daniel Vosovic's background and how accepting his parents were when he finally came out). Well, I was reading this article/interview with some of the designers about sex advice (I swear, a friend sent this to me) and was surprised to read that Zulema (aka She-tangi) is a lesbian. A married one, at that.
