Now you can put people on notice, Colbert-style
by Joel Keller, posted Aug 10th 2006 5:34PM

Ever look at Stephen Colbert's "On Notice" list and say to yourself, "Man, what I wouldn't do with one of those!" Building your own list was once just a fantasy, given the cost of the wood and all those printed cards you needed to slide in and out. And let's face it; putting one together just seemed like a lot of work.
But Jeff Lee saw a need and decided to fill it electronically. He's created a website where you can enter eight people or things that cheese you off, click a button and -- voila -- your very own "on notice" list, with the correct typeface and everything. You can make as many On Notice lists as you want; you can even see the last 100 lists created by your fellow angry Colbert Report fans. The list above is who I've wanted to put on notice for a while; who would be on your list?
