Jennifer Love Hewitt and Betty White Team Up for Hallmark Channel Movie
by Gary Susman, posted Aug 13th 2010 2:30PM
TV's Betty White-a-Palooza continues with yet another high profile gig for the 88-year-old tube icon. This time, it's a serious dramatic role, in a made-for-TV movie costarring Jennifer Love Hewitt.Variety reports that White and Hewitt will star in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie for CBS called 'The Lost Valentine.' Apparently, there are no hard feelings between Hewitt, who's also executive producing, and CBS, which dropped her show 'The Ghost Whisperer' in May after five seasons.
'Valentine,' based on the novel by James Michael Pratt, will star Hewitt as a reporter who profiles a woman (played by White) whose husband was declared missing in action during World War II. (And who better to locate a presumably long-dead lost love than Hewitt?)

The former 'Ghost Whisperer' star has one highly rated Lifetime movie, 'The Client List,' under her belt, and now TV Guide is reporting that she'll guest on the Sept. 29 episode of 'Law & Order: SVU.'Executive producer Neal Baer told the magazine that J. Love will be playing a rape victim who is so scarred by her attacks that she is afraid to leave her house.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Takes Seedy Massage Parlor Job on 'The Client List' (VIDEO)

Jennifer Love Hewitt dons various sexy ensembles for her role as a very special massage therapist on 'The Client List' (Mon., 9PM ET on Lifetime). In the "fact-based" Lifetime movie, Sam (Hewitt) and her husband Rex lose their jobs at the same time. With a family to support, she (naively) takes a job at a massage parlor that offers a whole lot more than a decent back rub.Sam's new boss lets her watch one coworker's session to learn the ropes. Soon she's an ace and starts getting creative.
But Rex finds out -- courtesy of a police sting and the local news. In front of all his bar buddies, he watches his wife get handcuffed and shoved into a cop car. Awk-ward!
Jennifer Love Hewitt Regrets Writing About Vajazzling (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Jul 14th 2010 6:50AM
Writing a self-help/dating guide/memoir has yielded a rather unexpected outcome for Jennifer Love Hewitt, she confessed to Jay Leno. On 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), the actress mentioned a particular subject from 'The Day I Shot Cupid' that she wishes she'd kept private. No, she doesn't regret revealing that she loves monkeys (even though they "fling poo"), or has tried on her favorite engagement ring many, many times.
"I wrote a chapter called 'vajazzling,' and now everybody tells me about their private parts," Hewitt explained. "Everybody talks about their hoo-has to me now ... Maybe I should have kept it to myself."

Well, here's another show canceled before its time. Or maybe not. The series finale of 'Ghost Whisperer' (Fri., 8PM ET on CBS), tied up a lot of questions, and appeared to resolve the show forever. But maybe there's still room for the future?[Spoiler alert.]
'Ghost Whisperer' - 'Blood Money' Recap

(S05E20) "Ghosts? Is that your specialty?" - Greg to MelindaI'm always surprised that no one in Grandview gossips about Melinda's gift so that it becomes somewhat common knowledge. After helping ghosts reconnect with their families for five years, one would expect that a few would have told their friends about Melinda's gift and helping them, no? Wouldn't you want to tell your friends how you got closure thanks to Melinda?
I can't wait to get a "Oh! You are that Melinda! I've heard about you!" Instead, we have to believe that everyone is able to keep Melinda's gift a secret. Then again, maybe some did gossip because rare are the people who say "WTF?!?! You can see ghosts!?!?" This week was no different.

(S05E19) Personally, I'd have thought it was pretty awesome to have the pink Power Ranger as a babysitter. Unfortunately, Erin Cahill's character came with a lot of baggage. Since this is 'Ghost Whisperer,' I'm sure you can imagine what that baggage consisted of.This episode took a break from the ongoing plotlines involving Shadows and Shinies, and all that other creepy stuff we're learning goes bump in the night other than ghosts. Instead, it got back to the heart of what 'Ghost Whisperer' was all about: helping a lost soul go into the light. I'm ashamed to admit it wasn't until very late in the episode that I realized the spirit was portrayed by Catherine Dent ('The Shield'). The make-up wasn't that intense!
The episode also pushed the limits of forgiveness and understanding about as far as they can be pushed. We've had some angry ghosts before, and they can definitely be a danger, but Laura (Dent) really surprised me.

Cybill Shepherd has been cast as Jennifer Love Hewitt's mom in an upcoming Lifetime original movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The untitled project, which Hewitt's Fedora Films will co-produce, is based on the true story of an aesthetician who is shocked to learn that her homecoming queen daughter has turned to prostitution to help make ends meet.
No word yet on when the film will hit the small screen.
Shepherd, who starred alongside her daughter, Clementine Ford, on the final season of 'The L Word,' was recently seen on ABC's 'Eastwick' and CBS' 'Criminal Minds.'
Jennifer Love Hewitt Recalls Very First Date ... With Fred Savage (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 12th 2010 4:30PM
Apparently, Jennifer Love Hewitt has a long history of relationships with famous men that have gone sour. On 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Hewitt shared the story of her very first date at 14-years-old, which included a night out with 16-year-old Fred Savage of 'The Wonder Years.' And, Hewitt said, after their one date, Savage never called her again. From there, discussion turns towards Hewitt's breasts, which Wendy Williams describes as "legendary" and, less flatteringly, "pendulous." "They had a career of their own, which far surpassed mine," Hewitt said.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's Worst Date Ever (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 9th 2010 4:30PM
If this story by Jennifer Love Hewitt is any indication, then dating for celebrities isn't any more pleasant than it is for the rest of us. On 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Hewitt said her worst dating experience was with a man sporting snakeskin loafers and hair like Donald Trump, who presented her with a childish *NSYNC backpack and brought altoids "for their kiss at the end of the night." As if things could get any worse, Hewitt said that, during their date, the man got hit by a ball while in a batting cage and fell to the ground "crying for his mommy." At the end of the night during their goodbye kiss, Hewitt feigned a sore throat. But, this didn't seem to deter her suitor, who proclaimed that Hewitt "might be the one."

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Craig Ferguson Talk Dating Burt Reynolds (VIDEO)
by Chris Harnick, posted Apr 9th 2010 10:45AM
Jennifer Love Hewitt stopped by 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' (weeknights, 12:35AM ET on CBS) to clear up a few rumors. The star of 'Ghost Whisperer' wanted to set the record straight on a gossip item: She is not dating Burt Reynolds, the two just happened to be having dinner at the same restaurant. Hewitt hasn't even met the actor. However, if she had met Reynolds, Ferguson said she'd be singing a different tune.
"If you met him, you'd be ... like, 'I'd be happy to date Burt Reynolds,'" Ferguson said. "Because I've met Burt Reynolds and I'm straight but I was like, 'I'd go gay for you, Burt.'" Ferguson's reason? Reynolds' hair. Interesting indeed ...

(S05E17) "What is happening to me?" - Damon
What's happening to you, Damon? You are the haunted character of the week that Melinda and company try to help. Same old, same old. This week's installment of 'Ghost Whisperer' was pretty much a filler episode that didn't offer character or show mythology development. I know, I know, not every single episode can move the year's main storylines along.
Luckily, the culprit of the week was not that easy to pinpoint and the comic book theme was pretty cool, especially when the last shot before each commercial was comic-book panel style. Sadly, these cool tidbits were overshadowed by a really badly done fantasy sequence.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Slaps Audience Member on 'Rachael Ray' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 2nd 2010 12:30PM
On 'The Rachael Ray Show' (weekdays, syndicated), an audience member says that, when he looks at other women while with his girlfriend, he's not actually drawn to their good looks. Instead, the man claims to be appreciating their fashion sense and imagining how their clothes would look on his significant other. Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn't buy the man's explanation, however, and invites him up on stage where she playfully slaps his hand and chides him.

Dame Edna Gives Jennifer Love Hewitt a 'Vajazzling' Gift (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Mar 25th 2010 4:00PM
Just when we thought the subject of Jennifer Love Hewitt's "vajazzling" was over and done with, Dame Edna gives it new life by presenting the actress with a bag of jewels and a bottle of Elmer's Glue on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). After Hewitt explains that the term relates to adorning one's "little lady region" with Swarovski crystals, Dame Edna presents her with a gift of jewels and a way of affixing them. Hewitt notes the rather large size of the jewels, to which Dame Edna responds, "I didn't know what area we were covering."
