Does 'DWTS' Head Judge Len Goodman Need a Vacation?
Is the strain of his heavy workload and weekly transatlantic commute starting to take its toll on 'Dancing With the Stars' head judge Len Goodman? He and Bruno Tonioli have a punishing schedule, pulling double duty judging 'DWTS' during the week, and then flying back to the UK to judge the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing' at the weekend. Now Len's had blow-ups with pro dancers on both shows in the space of just a few days. Is he crankier than usual? Last night he and Maksim Chmerkovskiy had a major falling out after Maks interrupted Len's harsh critique of his rumba. That bust up followed a furious on-air altercation with 'Strictly' dancer James Jordan on Saturday night, during which Len told him, "All you have to do is turn up, keep up and shut up."
Is an irascible Len overdue for a vacation? Well, luckily for him he'd already booked one before it got nasty on the dancefloor(s). It's been announced that Len is taking a week off from 'Strictly' next month, and subbing-in for him as guest judge on Nov. 5 and 6 will be none other than 'DWTS' Season 11 champ, Jennifer Grey.
Jennifer Grey and Wendy Williams Discuss the Nancy Grace Nip Slip (VIDEO)
Jennifer Grey and Wendy Williams are both 'Dancing With the Stars' veterans, so of course, when Grey appeared on 'The Wendy Williams Show,' (weekdays, syndicated on Fox) the discussion turned to Nancy Grace's nip slip.Grey hadn't seen video of the moment yet, so Williams had to fill her in on went went down ... or more accurately, popped out. "Was it a substantial slipppage?" Grey asked. "It was enough, it was areola," Williams replied. Grey then confessed that she never wore nipple covers during her 'Dancing' run, either.

Take a tour through the past year of TV and relive some of the best moments the medium had to offer in our 10 Most Viewed Videos of the Year. We'd all do well to study these fan favorites and commit them to long-term memory. After all, someday our grandchildren might ask where we were when Terry Bradshaw sprang from a cake, when Helen Mirren showed up in a red bikini or when Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked off their own set. Okay, maybe not. But it's nice to dream.Jennifer Grey Undergoes Back Surgery After Winning 'Dancing With the Stars'
'Dancing With the Stars' winner Jennifer Grey is recovering from back surgery last week for a ruptured disc that she suffered during 'Dancing' final performance episode, almost forcing her to withdraw from competition."I have to rest a bit more, but I feel great -- completely pain free," Grey, 50, told PEOPLE.
The operation involved California doctor Dr. Robert S. Bray Jr. removing "a huge fragment" from Grey's back. Bray said the actress "can go back to her family, pilates, dancing -- just about anything she wants to do."
On the 'DWTS' Scene: Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough Celebrate Their Victory

Nobody -- not even the legion of fans who were keeping Bristol Palin in the competition -- puts Baby in the corner!
Jennifer Grey, who became America's sweetheart back in 1987 as teenager Baby in the film 'Dirty Dancing,' was crowned the season 11 champion of 'Dancing With the Stars' last night.
After the finale, TV Squad spoke to the winner and runners-up Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin; their respective pro partners, Derek Hough, Lacey Schwimmer and Mark Ballas; as well as returning contestants about the rollercoaster that was season 11.
Jimmy Kimmel Congratulates 'DWTS' Winner Jennifer Grey and Pranks Her About Sarah Palin's 'Revenge' (VIDEO)
Well, they had the time of their lives ... and now it's all over -- and they're the champions. Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough won the 'Dancing With the Stars' finale tonight. As part of their victory, they got a trophy and some money. But they also got to appear on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). That's kind of a prize too -- we guess. Except that Jimmy Kimmel used the interview to give Jennifer a fake scare about Sarah Palin. After offering his congratulations, Jimmy read a supposed Twitter message from Ms. Palin: "I smell something fishy. Shame on you, ABC!" The host paused to let this sink in. "How do you react to that?" he asked Ms. Grey. Jennifer responded with confusion and a nervous giggle. " ... Fascinating," she said. But it was lies, all lies!
In reality, Sarah Palin sent a congratulatory message soon after the show ended. (Though by "Tweeting" so quickly, she may have accidentally spoiled the result for some West Coast viewers.) At any rate, Kimmel quickly revealed his little prank. "Oh, Jimmy -- you're so cute," Jennifer said.
'Dancing With the Stars' Winner: Who Won the Season 11 Finale?
Three dancers entered the stage, but only one left with the mirrorball trophy in hand. Who was crowned the 'Dancing With the Stars' winner for season 11? Was it Bristol, Jennifer or Kyle?On the 'DWTS' Scene: Who Will Triumph in the 'Dancing With the Stars' Finale'?

They still have a few more dances to complete before the season 11 mirrorball trophy is handed out on 'Dancing With the Stars,' but the three finalist pairs have performed their highly anticipated freestyle routines.
Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough paid homage in their freestyle to a song ('Do You Love Me?') from 'Dirty Dancing,' the classic film from 1987 which Grey starred in opposite the late Patrick Swayze.
Teen activist Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas danced to a tune ('Cell Block Tango') from 'Chicago,' while Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer did a hip hop-inspired freestyle to the '69 Boyz' song 'Tootsee Roll.'
There'll Be No 'Dirty Dancing' Lift for Jennifer Grey in the 'DWTS' Finale
The long wait to see who'll be crowned 'DWTS' is nearly at an end. But don't hold your breath waiting for finalist Jennifer Grey to recreate her famous 'Dirty Dancing' lift sequence.
The "air lift" move she performed with co-star Patrick Swayze has become one of the most iconic scenes in 'Dirty Dancing,' and fans have been on the edge of their seats hoping that Grey and partner Derek Hough would pull it out of the bag in the finals.
However, in an interview with People, Grey said "I won't be doing the lift in the finals ... Everyone should not expect that."
Even if she did consider it briefly, doctors told her that doing it could seriously injure her neck and back. Grey underwent the first of three neck surgeries only a year ago, and has been plagued by injuries all season.
'Dancing With the Stars' Season 11, Episode 19 Recap
['Dancing with the Stars' - 'Finale, Night One']So, the perhaps unlikely trio of Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey has made it to the finale of 'Dancing with the Stars'. Night One consisted of a redemption dance of the judges' choosing, and the crowd favorite, Freestyle. Every season, I hope to see something as insane as Marie Osmond's doll routine, but tonight didn't bring anything that original. Lacey's routine looked similar to the one she did with Lance Bass, Derek's looked like his freestyle with Brooke Burke, and Mark's Broadway Freestyle was previously attempted by both Mya and Donny Osmond.
Who was the person that not only gave tickets to Omorosa, but sat her next to Kyle Massey's family? Omorosa should stop sitting in the audience -- she must be convinced that her face in the audience will be enough pressure for the producers to put her on next season. If we needed a reality star, there's a long list of reality contestants who are at least relevant that I would rather have on my television. If the producers wanted a celebrity that wasted their time sitting in the audience, they should ask Jamie Lee Curtis, who's been there supporting Jennifer Grey for weeks.
Jennifer Grey Cements Place as 'Dancing' Favorite With Two Perfect Scores (VIDEO)
There were questions to be answered on 'Dancing With the Stars' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). Questions like: Would Jennifer and Derek remain the front-runners? Would Bristol Palin continue her improbable march to the finals? Would the ghost of Brandy haunt the studio, 'Phantom of the Opera'-style, after her bizarre elimination last week? And tonight's show raised an additional question... what was the deal with that watermelon?
We'll get to the watermelon in a second. The theme for the show was "Redemption/Freestyle." Each pair had to re-do an older dance, followed by a routine of their choice. In both cases, Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough knocked it out of the park.
'Dancing With the Stars' Predictions: Who Will Win Season 11?

We also predicted that Jennifer Grey ultimately would triumph, which is also still possible. The one thing we didn't see coming was that Kyle Massey, not Brandy Norwood, would be the third contender for the Mirror Ball.
On a season that's been this unpredictable, we size up the stars before the finale -- their best and worst dances, their strengths and weaknesses and who's got the best shot at winning.
On the 'DWTS' Scene: Brandy Is 'Numb' Over Her Shocking Exit
Season 11 of 'Dancing With the Stars' has had more than its share of shocking exits, but none more than Brandy Norwood and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy being sent home on last night's results show. Many predicted that the singer would advance to the finals, but her surprise departure means that teen activist Bristol Palin, who not only entered the contest with no dance or performing experience but also scored consistently low with the judges, is going to the final round along with actress Jennifer Grey and actor Kyle Massey.
The three finalist duos walked the post-show press line, understandably enthusiastic over their victories, but members of the press had one question on their minds: How has Palin managed to make it to the finals?
"I've known that I've worked hard to get to where I am now," Palin said. "I definitely feel like I'm one of the most improved dancers on the show."
'Dancing With the Stars' Season 11, Episode 17 Recap
['Dancing with the Stars' - 'The Semi-Finals']'Dancing With the Stars' finally reached the semi-finals with four characters that represented four different traits. Brandy had the best musicality, Jennifer the best acting, Kyle was the best entertainer, and Bristol had the best luck. The final two dances for each of the couples were split into two rounds. In the Latin round, the dancers had to incorporate a solo, but there didn't seem to be much emphasis placed on it. Previous seasons stressed a time component, or even the contestants suffering from nerves, but we saw none of that.
In round two, the Ballroom round, we got the stars' really truncated life stories. Brandy had the most celebrity fan-fare, and she even had Monica in the audience cheering her on. The producers avoided another potential booing incident by showing Bristol's mom, Sarah Palin, speaking only in recorded packages and not live, just in case.
Kelly Osbourne Predicts a 'DWTS' Winner on 'Ellen' (VIDEO)
As a former 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant herself, Kelly Osbourne is probably better suited than most to predict a winner for the show's current season. On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Osbourne did exactly that, singling out Jennifer Grey and Bristol Palin as the celebs most likely to vie for the coveted disco ball trophy.TV Squad Hot Topics
