A Disturbed Patient on 'Miami Medical' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted May 2nd 2010 10:00PM
Sometimes, a doctor's work is never done. On 'Miami Medical' (Fri., 10PM ET on CBS), Doctor Zambrano (Lana Parrilla) steps out of the daily grind of the hospital -- and tries to change her clothes in the locker room. But even there, she's not alone. A deranged patient follows her into the room. Then, he points a gun at her.How About 'James Bond: The TV Series?'
by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 20th 2010 4:05PM
So MGM announced yesterday that the next James Bond movie -- number 23, if you're keeping track -- has been put on hold "indefinitely" because the studio is for sale and they have no idea what's going on with it.This is scary stuff. It reminds me of those awful years when everything was put on hold so long that Timothy Dalton said "the heck with this, yo" and left and they were without a Bond for a while. Everything turned out OK, as Pierce Brosnan was Bond for several flicks and then Daniel Craig for the reboot. Let's hope that things get settled before everyone decides to move on.
But it got me thinking: isn't it about time we had a 007 TV series? Why not?

Does the new patient weigh 800 pounds?Watch the video after the jump.
'Miami Medical' - 'Pilot' Recap (Series Premiere)
by Allison Waldman, posted Apr 3rd 2010 2:08AM

(S01E01) Like CBS's other medical drama for this TV season, 'Three Rivers,' 'Miami Medical' is very earnest and filled with moments that strive for poignancy. The fact that it doesn't succeed is less a reflection on the network than the creators. At least CBS gets credit for realizing that 'Miami Medical' was less that the sum of its aspirations and planted it in the little viewed Friday, 10 PM time slot.
CBS Has No Faith in 'Miami Medical'
by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 30th 2010 4:01PM
You've probably seen the commercials for CBS' new medical drama 'Miami Medical.' That's the medical drama that isn't 'Three Rivers' and has The Rollings Stones' "19th Nervous Breakdown" as the promo theme. It premieres this Friday at 10PM, which pretty much means CBS cares about it as much as viewers are going to care about it, which is probably not very much (for the most part nowadays, Friday nights = death). The Hollywood Reporter thinks the same thing, and even says the show is "dead on arrival."
It stars Jeremy Northam as a mysterious doctor in charge of a medical facility in Miami, North Dakota. Just kidding! It's actually the one in Florida.
CBS juggles Monday, Accidentally shelved and Rules returns
by Allison Waldman, posted Jan 7th 2010 7:30PM
Good news for Patrick Warburton fans; disappointing news for Jenna Elfman fans. And if you have a deep affection for Jeremy Northam, this should make you happy, too. Confused? Don't be. I'm just laying out the essence of the CBS midseason juggle. On Mondays, beginning February 1, Accidentally on Purpose will be shelved... but only for a few weeks. Taking the 8:30 Monday slot will be the return of Patrick Warburton, the best thing in Rules of Engagement.
That's not all. On March 31, the 8:30 slot in which Gary Unmarried airs, will be assumed by Accidentally. That's not because Gary's being canceled; it will have completed its season order by then.
The Tudors: Episode 2-2
by Kristin Sample, posted Apr 6th 2008 10:05PM

(S02E02) This week we see just how much Anne has beguiled Henry (some might even say, bewitched?). The gifts, the trip to France, the title--all tokens of his love and all signs of how narrow-minded he is about her. I think the gifts, while very special and expensive, are nothing compared to the trip to Calais and Henry's elevating Anne to Marquess of Pembroke. Those two things show, more than anything else, that Henry is indeed serious about divorcing Queen Katharine and marrying Anne Boleyn.

The Tudors - an early look
by Julia Ward, posted Mar 16th 2007 11:05AM

So, it turns out Henry VIII isn't just that portly guy at the Renaissance Faire with a gigantic turkey leg greasing up his maw. He was an athletic would-be humanist with an over-the-top appetite for sex and a body hard enough to qualify him for gay porn, or at least, that's how Showtime's The Tudors, the latest in bodice-ripping historical dramas, portrays him.
