The Situation Hits on Jesse Eisenberg in Italian (VIDEO)
by Laura Prudom, posted Aug 10th 2011 3:30AM
You've got to imagine that it would be fairly traumatic to have Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino hitting on you in any language, but it's reassuring to know that he's no more alluring in Italian than he is in American. While visiting 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' (weeknights, 11.35PM ET on NBC), Sorrentino demonstrated his newfound linguistic skills on an unsuspecting Jesse Eisenberg, who didn't look too convinced.
Jennifer Lawrence is Jealous of Jesse Eisenberg's 'Weird Quirks' on 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Feb 3rd 2011 1:55AM
Jesse Eisenberg admitted on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), that he has some quirks that affect his daily life, and that he has even more severe rituals he must perform before coming onto a show like this one.It sounds like a form of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), but at least it's manageable, and it's good that Eisenberg is comfortable enough to talk about. What he probably would have never expected is to find someone who's actually jealous of his quirks.
Jennifer Lawrence was Jay Leno's next guest, and she immediately turned to Eisenberg and said, "By the way, you are the most interesting person."
Apparently while watching him from her dressing room she decided, "I want weird quirks."
It's Zuckerberg Times Three on 'SNL' as the Real Mark Zuckerberg Stops By (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jan 31st 2011 2:51AM
The three face(book)s of Mark Zuckerberg erupted on the set of 'Saturday Night Live' (Sat., 11:30pm on NBC) as the real deal dropped in on host Jesse Eisenberg's monologue. Eisenberg, of course, played him in the Oscar-nominated film 'The Social Network. In the monologue bit, Andy Samberg came out in his Mark Zuckerberg persona to give Eisenberg crap for getting an Oscar nomination for portraying him in the film.
"what do I get," he asked. "What do I have to feel good about?"
"Wasn't Facebook just valued at like $50 billion?" Eisenberg responded.
Face-Off! Mark Zuckerberg Makes 'SNL' Cameo in Jesse Eisenberg's Monologue (VIDEO)
by PopEater Staff, posted Jan 30th 2011 11:20AM
Last night's 'Saturday Night Live' was hardly what you'd call a Mark Zuckerberg Production, but it did feature a spirited cameo from the Facebook co-founder.As predicted, Zuckerberg wasn't about to let Jesse Eisenberg -- newly Oscar-nominated for playing the young lawsuit magnet in 'The Social Network' -- hog the 'SNL' spotlight.
During the 27-year-old actor's stammering monologue about his faux bravado in nervewracking situations, a hoodie-clad Andy Samberg sidled onstage impersonating Zuckerberg. And while they bantered, 'SNL' impresario Lorne Michaels stood offstage, wondering which joker was actually the 26-year-old Time Person of the Year.
By Lorne's side? The real deal.
Zuck delivered his punch lines with a grin ("Those guys are such nerds. I invented 'poking!'"), and soon stepped onstage as Samberg skedaddled ("Wait, have you two not met? Awk-berg!").
It was a stilted summit meeting, but as a Winklevoss might put it, very collegial ... in a dorky way ... where one of the dorks is a bazillionaire.
'Saturday Night Live': Jesse Eisenberg / Nicki Minaj Recap (VIDEO)

['Saturday Night Live' - 'Season 36, Episode 13']
Who's hosting 'Saturday Night Live' this week? Who? Jesse Eisenberg? What would I know him from? I haven't seen 'The Social Network.' That's the internet movie about the rich nerds with the lead singer from N'Sync, right? He's hosting? Man, they must be hard up for hosts these days. Who's next week, that homeless guy with the sexy voice? No, I'm sure he is talented. You don't get nominated for an Oscar without some talent... unless you're Adrien Brody. There's always an added element of excitement when a newbie hosts the show, too. Cool. I'm psyched. Let's do this.

by Jean Bentley, posted Jan 28th 2011 1:00PM
Recent Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg is set to host 'Saturday Night Live' this week alongside musical guest Nicki Minaj, but he could have another very special visitor attend tomorrow night's taping.According to the New York Post, Mark Zuckerberg is angling to appear on the episode. A source told the paper that the Facebook founder wants "to show he has a sense of humor" after complaining publicly that he was portrayed poorly in 'The Social Network.'
Dueling Zuckerbergs? We're in. It'll be best if 'SNL' uses him in an actual sketch, but we have a feeling he's going to be relegated to a short Weekend Update guest spot. Either way, the results could be great.

Jesse Eisenberg Now Gets Mistaken for Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Jan 7th 2011 5:00AM
You'd think that everyone knows Jesse Eisenberg is an actor who played Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in 'The Social Network.' Even if you're less culturally savvy than business-minded, maybe you'd know Zuckerberg's face from the cover of 'Time,' when he was named Person of the Year. But a particular Blackberry exec mistook Eisenberg for the real deal, he said on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). He approached the actor in a coffee shop and asked if Eisenberg was still affiliated with Blackberry.
